Lowery, QB, from CPA. 6'2", 230, BIG arm, accurate, reads defense well. Not real fast (don't have to be in college), but strong and powerful runner who can get tough yards when you need them.Already been contacted by Lousville, Vandy that I know of.

Hes also been down to Auburn and had a look from Illinois

These should be some of the top recruits in the state for next year.

TE - Aaron Douglas (6'6, 240) Maryville (Already commited to Tennessee)

LB - Chris Jordan (6'3, 215) Brentwood Academy

LB - Thomas Majors (6'2, 220) Maplewood

Ath - DeMario Williams (6'3, 185) Columbia Central

Good list but I would add:

QB-Randall Cobb Alcoa

WR/DB Brian Sommer Alcoa

One of the Top QB Prospects in the state is Brent Burnette of maryville. After watching Saturdays 4A state championship game on TV he is obviously the best pro style QB in the state. I had heard of this kid previously but not had the opportunity to see him play. Against a powerful Hillsboro team which i am familar he threw 3 TD's, 10-15, 215yds. as a co-starter. While playing for an extremely talented maryville team Burnette displayed the arm strength, accuracy and intangibles to succeed at the next level.

Brent Burnette has the strongest arm of any Maryville quarterback I have seen. Brent is 6'3 200lbs. Other outstanding juniors for Maryville are Aaron Douglas 6'6 250lbs and Steven Shiver 6'3 200lbs.

    • You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.
    • He was a bruise but Aaron Dykes is HVA’s best RB ever.
    • I am talking about what they both did for their team. They both carried their team for four years while they were both there. I wasn’t really comparing them that would be unfair. Bishop is on a level of his own.
    • Dorian Eskridge had a great Junior year, highlighted by a great game to lead HVA to an upset win at OR that year. I think that was 2010. In 2011 OR won at HVA. OR had a real good QB that year l think. Dorian Eskridge had a great senior year also. He always played hard from the DCM videos l saw.
    • It seems we lost a ton to graduation. We shall see how it shapes up for 2024.
