It is great to see so many local boys getting to play at the next level. I am sure that having Kit at AP helped Scott's decision to accept there. Good luck to him.

I am so proud of Stell and Griffith. Coach Alexander just got a STEAL with those two. They were the heart and soul of our defense and both deserve to play at the next level. Good grades too..........

i know he did with kealin because i was saddened to see that he went to cumberland i thought he was going to a shot at a school with much more prestige

the record is 325

tinker got 315 pretty easy a couple of weeks ago... sumeral and spurklock are the other two though and they're not very far behind him...

That's really good news! Tinker and Sumerall are two of the guys that need to start somewhere this fall. Both guys have the right stuff but just need to take one of the spots somewhere.

It's also good news that they're doing so well on the power clean. As far as football relevance I would rate the three lifts, by importance, as 1. Clean, 2. Squat, 3. Bench.

Keep that good news coming....are there any real 'surprises'?

Well TDC, word on the street is that one of your coaches applied at Smyrna.

we are used to coaches haveing other opportunites at Riverdale we always have good coaches and teams try and get those coaches in fact 1 of those coaches left to be a DC at a private school and is now in the running for a head coach job not sure if he has gotten yet but is in the running so i wish him luck and if another coach leaves for smyrna i hope he likes that school as much as RIverdale and he losses every time he plays us if he gets the job

yea its been a while since ive even been inside the weight room but i can tell by looking at tinker he is alot bigger this year i think he'll have a shot to start on the offensive line but one would think he would be better fit for a linebacker. regardless i want him to start somewhere on the field because the past 2 years i dont get to excited to see him come on the field considering he is the long snapper and we are having to punt

cumberland is gettin the cream of the crop. should have a great d next yr .

Kaelin had other opportunities , but right now being close to home for his parents to be able to watch him was more important. Cumberland is a good academics school and he will get a good degree and education there.

rite now being close 2 home was the rite decision 4 kaelin.

his dad recently had a heart attack.

    • I extend my gratitude to ManCoverage for initiating this discussion thread tailored to the residents of Trousdale County. In times of adversity within our football team, it is imperative to have an outlet for expression, and what better platform than CoachT's Craigslist forum? I respectfully request that GOAT exercise discretion in his commentary, as his remarks have caused me personal distress.
    • I am inclined to wager a substantial portion of my financial assets on the likelihood that Waggoner shall transition to an alternative coaching vocation prior to the year 2028. It is my contention that discerning individuals are beginning to perceive his coaching prowess as lacking in the requisite excellence. Allow me to articulate the following assertion: Waggoner represents a markedly superior choice compared to the individual who perpetrated the act of fuel theft.   This individual exhibits a conspicuous propensity for frequent professional transitions, a trait which undermines his credibility and renders him an untenable choice for serious consideration. It is indeed confounding that his candidacy continues to garner attention and support.
    • Yeah same   It’s definitely true that tough times make tough kids, but some kids just have a big passion for the game and will become the best of the best no matter where they come from.
    • Hope you enjoy it King and good to meet you at state this year. Good luck to the Lady Landers. Keep battling.
