Riverdale is in a passing camp with Mt. Juliet tomorrow (or should I say today)

that is intresting when we used to pass a little we did not go to passing camps and NOW that we dont pass at all we are going to one intresting maybe we may learn to pass alittle again or at least make a team respect it

hey im not saying we need to be a passing team but we need enough for our opponents to respect ESPCAILLY in playoffs

if trey smith is indeed going to be the starting QB we definately need to utilize his talents which is passing (good rusher also) i have heard he has improved alot

That looks like a good lineup for what we need to accomplish in the preseason. I saw on the FC thread that the FC scrimmage would be August 10th at Riverdale. The MBA scrimmage is always fun as both teams test themselves in that one.

Trey's strength seems to be his accuracy on the short to mid-range throws. The coaching staff did a great job with Scott last year so maybe they can do the same with Trey. This will be Trey's second year in the system so it will be interesting to see.

 

Good to hear about the latest addition to the coaching staff. Look for the defense to struggle a little early in the year but they could be really good by mid-season.

 

Things should start to pick up after next week.

Historically R'dale's defense didn't come together until the second or third game. Playing Siegel in the first game it did not matter that much. Thing is this year we do not have that game as tune up. That I think along with Corvin was the reason for the scare last year, then the loss to Baylor the week after that.

 

This year R'dale is gonna have to be firing on ALL cylinders from the beginning until the end of the season.

 

Now all we have to do is wait and play for the 'RING' the full year!

I hope we don't average giving up 21 points a game. That would be some serious struggling. Let's just say that it will be difficult to be in-sync and dominating until everyone is comfortable with all the changes. Of course, I expect that Oakland's new offense will struggle in the beginning as well.
