Why do you want us to believe you're Wiggins? Most coaches don't want their players to get on here and comment. No good can come of it. As far as team effort goes, if DB comes with the team effort they have had in recent games (other than District 1 playoffs), you will have more of a team to deal with than you have ever wanted. Ask Science Hill, who as you recall, beat you. When DB last played Science Hill, they took a beating until DB slacked in the 4th quarter.

im not wiggins i agree im just a fan...and put it this way we will be ready for u guys and expect the unexpected....

Everyone knows that it isnt Wiggins....its probly a little freshman who know absolutely nothing about basketball and probably doesnt even know Wiggins.

 

As far as the game goes...it will be a battle! DB beat SHHS twice, and SHHS did beat GHS very handily...I must say tho, that was the best I have seen SHHS play this year and one of the poorer performances I have seen from GHS. If they play like they did that night they could have beaten anyone in the state! DB has a great team this year, and so does Greeneville. It is gonna be a great game!

Expect the unexpected? Everyone expects a great game and that's what they will get with these two great ball teams. I hope DB comes out on top but it's too tough to call this one...

      RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.

      I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
