CSAS's bench is deep we are a very balanced team, i believe this will be a defensive game for CSAS, if we play good D then we will be able to open up the offense. Mojo20
Having seen Westside on a couple occasions let's enlighten everyone about these guys. Everyone here respects how good the Middleton basketball tradition is, and that they are usually very skilled with great athletes. Westside IS, no doubt the quickest and most athletic team in the Class A tournament. This doesn't mean they will win it but no one will be able to guard them man to man. Middleton was not only one step slow against them but usually two or three. They do tend to shoot to many 3's but if they get the lead and spread the floor and you have to guard them from mid court to the rim, they will make lay-ups all day. They will play with a ton of emotion since this is the last yr for the school but understand that with the competition they play throughout the season they shouldn't be intimidated by anyone. If you play them at 10:30 get a good nights rest because if your not ready to play you could be on the bus headed home before lunch.

I think they would be able to handle Westside in a man defense.
global98
I talked to someone who has seen Westside play as well. They are quick, but the Patriots are by no means slow and are capable of playing man or zone, half-court or full-court. I still think that the lack of a bench and style of play could be major factors for Westside come Wednesday.
ragincajun477
i don't know. csas is pretty quick. the past two games i went to for them they forced a lot of turnovers and i heard they did the same against pickett c.

ragincajun477
i don't think westside will win. they're used to playing teams that aren't as quick as them (from what i've heard) and csas will be able to match they're speed. csas is used to playing quick teams like howard and south pitt(yes i know south pitt isn't that good but they're still quick). and csas seems like a more clutch team than westside. i got csas by 8.
