I have to agree as I don't know alot of the middle and west Tennesse teams. I do think that Houston and Collierville are VERY, VERY close and I would put Collierville ahead of Bearden. My reasoning comes from this...Bearden has not been really tested yet. West is rebuilding somewhat, but still good. CAK is again good, but young and trying to find that consistent lineup..but not there yet. Father Ryanis ranked but can't keep up with talent at Bearden. Dobyns-Bennett is still trying to find what works for them. Collierville showed some great stuff against Farragut and Oak Ridge. I get the ties were not great for them, but they still looked good. Inconsistent would be the difference in my opinion for putting them second to Houston. I don't know...is Collierville a young team? Again I don't know anything about Brentwood or Franklin so if I am off it is out of lack of information on those teams.

Read it and weep guys and gals. The man recognizes the talent and skill that was shown at Katie Hunter. I don't get Brentwood's ranking with one loss as Collierville did look good at Katie Hunter even with 2 ties.

In Mjhub's defense, almost everyone behind Brentwood has a loss and I would guess (based upon his rankings) that he considers 2 ties against the #14 and 16 ranked overall teams is worse than a loss to the # 7 ranked overall team. Of course everyone is now getting into the meat of their schedules and all of this should shake out over the next few weeks. Franklin and Brentwood play Sept 11 and that should (as always) be exiting and well played.

Franklin and Brentwood are both very good teams and their game should be a great one.

I watched both games yesterday and the teams looked tired. 3 games in 3 days against good teams in 90+ degrees.

I don't have a dog in this hunt, but Brentwood is much better than they looked against ND. There is a lot of quality there but a couple of mental mistakes cost them. They hit the crossbar and the right post and just couldn't get going.

Franklin played a lot of young players and looked better than they did against Ravenwood last week. Nice header finish off a corner kick and they were never really threatened in the game.

There is some great soccer being played in Williamson County again this year. 4 of mjuhbs top 8 overall are within about 8 miles of one another!

Collierville has 22 players (11 Sr, 4 Jr and 7 Soph), 18 of which were a part of the 2006 AAA runnerup team and 7 of which were a part of the 2005 AAA championship team. They are a seasoned team with several girls who will play at the next level. All players are seeing quite a bit of playing time. Ali Glemser is a South Carolina commitment and made the Katie Hunter all tournament team.
