What's sad about this whole situation is I truly think Happy Valley has a good coach who is doing good things for the Warriors. He has them playing hard, disciplined football and they really do fly around to the ball. But instead of talking about how much heart they have or how much promise the future holds for them, two current players had to run off at the mouth and ruin all the team's credibility.

Hampton faithful- they're no slouch. They play basic football the right way, but are years away from being 'dangerous.' They are capable of staying in a game if underestimated- Trust us Devils.

Warrior25 and 54- Don't use CoachT until you graduate. It'll cost you a lot more grief than pleasure, not to mention the damage you can do (have already done) to your TEAM's reputation. I had a higher opinion of the Warriors until I saw your comments.

Look, kid. I don't know what your problem is, but most Hampton and Cloudand fans have made peace. From what I've heard, its a woman's trait to hold long-term grudges. /flower.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":flower:" border="0" alt="flower.gif" /> No body in Roan Mt. has shot off at the mouth towards anyone from Hampton and I've not said anything to you all year, so you need to not start any crap. I expect a good solid game week ten. Hampton has my respect and I've stated that position all year. I'd rather get along than play these childish games that you do. I'm sorry for the bickering I did two years ago. That is the last time I'm going to apologize for it. Everyone has moved on, and so should you. If you want to fight someone, take that AR-15 with you and go to Iraq. You'll find plenty of it there. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

i dont understand why everyone here on coachT takes everything so personal. thats all the whole thing is, just a bunch of people at different schools bashing each other, and when someone says something you dont like, you get mad...its friday night high school football, theres gonna be smack talk from both sides

You forgot me the starting, true sophomore OL/DT. As far as starting for Hampton, the game films speak for themselves about me. As for Friday night...I welcome the challenge from Roop, no matter how big he is. We will see the outcome game night, whoever wants it most!

U might welcome the challenge, but u might not like the end result!

Now people, come on. You actually think that we are going to get beat 47-6 or 52-0! That's all I've heard, how bad we are going to lose. We did get beat pretty bad by Cumberland Gap, who is top 10 in the state, but we have changed a lot since then. South Greene's game showed that, most people thought we were gonna get killed. Win or lose, it will be a close game tomorrow night.

I hear there are some key players that won't be in the game tomorrow night for Hula Valley. This could hurt bad, or should I say "hurt worse." /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />

    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
    • I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
