SmashMouth
Be sure to try to BBQ sandwich at our concession stand or the nachos! And dont forget to check out our funky neon palm trees at the car wash. It's like a trip to Las Vegas! Field should be looking great. Man, all we need is a football game! Hope D. West makes it into the rotation. That kid hits like a Mack Truck!
piledriver22
34-7, Oneida wins this game w/ Unaka scoring late. Oneidas D will man-handle Unaka's O. Go Indians!!
kazam37
No offense, Smash, but if any kid on the team hits like a Mack Truck......you can be dang sure Tony Lambert has them on the field. I'll say this for Lambo, his personnel decisions this season have been spot-on! Don't take this perception wrong, I'm not a hater. D. West is fine in my book. I look at it like this.....keep plugging away until you can't help but to catch the coach's eye. H. Sexton is a great example of what I am talking about. He didn't have much of a presence at the first of the year (IMO), but look at him now. Even made player of the week! If the kid is making plays in practice, it won't take long to get back into the "rotation". /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> Kaz /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

TL's defense speaks for itself. Anyone wanting to second guess him is crazy! H. Sexton is an awesome athlete. Even better, he's a great kid. I am glad to see him step up and work his way into the lineup. I think TL and Coach Wright do an excellent job of giving all the boys an opportunity in games to show what they can do....just like Holden. Honestly, there's a whole tribe of big hitters on this team. Hutson, Woodard, Lew, anyone on the line! I shouldn't be partial. I just remember several big hits down at Midway and that one right at the half on the huge full back from McCreary Co. by #14. Tick, Tock....only 48 hours left! bigdawg07
I'm not on here much anymore, one reason is this site has become more of a bash board than anything. I work with a lot of the kids in this county and they believe in what a lot people are saying... Bashing kids 14-17 who have no ideal what lies ahead in the next few years.. Grown men and Women who have graduated from high school bashing schools and kids who believe in what you type.. They read your quotes and for some believe they have no chance of winning because no one believes in them. The best comeback game I have ever seen was at cloudland week before last. 35-21 with 28 seconds left to play. Grace trails and with .09 seconds left they have tied the score and have the ball with a chance to win. Unbelievable.. When I was leaving the biggest question I heard from many people was how did Unaka hold this team to six points... Also the game was at grace. The most of you including Carter County people are picking Onieda to win. My son plays at Unaka and has friends and former teammates on all four other Carter county teams and each week looks form them to win.. He and I pull for all our local teams to win, and every Sat. we pull for the Big Orange... No matter who they play.. Can Unaka beat Onieda, well if they score a two point conversion they beat Cloudland, and cosby. They have one of the best defenseive teams I have seen. The Big O played hampton a good game but also did Unicoi and I believe they only one two games this season. If they kick an extra point they beat hampton..Who would have thought. I believe Unaka, Cloudland and Hampton will win and if grace completes some passes they have a great chance of beating Midway... I think Grace has the best chance except Hampton of beating Midway.. Hampton 46 Coalfield 7 Cloudland 30 Harriman 14 Unaka 22 Onieda 21 Grace 32 Midway 30 If they don't complete their passes and stay with that they will get hammered. They score 16 points in .20 seconds by passing the football but went into overtime and ran four plays on the ground. From there Jordan Hughes took over Midway 45 Grace 14 Y dont we just stop cheering also dont want to hurt any of the players feelings
Umpire2829
I have a friend that grew up in Oneida. Played football there. Does anybody remember Jeremy Shoemaker? He actually married my wife's college roommate. I'd love to know if he is still in the area or not? Haven't seen him in several yrs.
