I am sure that we were happy to take Rankin's money to use the facility. I was told awhile back that it could be rented out by various sports teams to help pay the note ..

Hmm, I'd be very surprised if this happens. Gary Rankin has a very good young upcoming team at Alcoa, as they only lose one senior on the offense (Randall Cobb) and they're likely to have a chance at two more state championships in a row at least.

Rankin played his typical cat and mouse game for a raise, and Oakland apparently bit. I am so disappointed in TPTB. First for being played by a lying cheat, and second for trying to pull a fast one on the OHS faithful, alumni , Players, and fans. I am about finished with this place.

no offense but why would Rankin leave Alcoa (state powerhouse and bright future) for Oakland (no offense but not the same caliber as Alcoa).. but hey i guess Rankin doesnt care about rings and his kids all he wants is more money.. or better yet maybe he is tired of losing to George Quarles and Maryville every year.. haha.. hey he shouldnt feel to bad though, they have beaten everyone for the past 60 games in a row.. but hey i guess time will tell
