East vs. West Tennessee All-Star Classic

 

Public Relations Office - November 13, 2007

 

This year??™s high school football season in Tennessee will be extended one week as the top seniors in the Volunteer state will converge on East Tennessee for the 1st Annual Toyota East vs. West Tennessee All-Star Classic.

 

The game will take place on Saturday, December 15, at Burke-Tarr Stadium on the campus of Carson-Newman College. Teams will be comprised of approximately 45 players each, selected by high school coaches across Tennessee.

Tennessee High School??™s Elijah Bible (#40) and Matt Dickerson (#75) have been selected for the East All-Star team.

 

Not only will this be an exciting event for the fans, but players will have the opportunity to perform in front of college football coaches from all over the South.

 

The Toyota East vs. West Tennessee All-Star Classic is sure to become one of the premier high school all-star games in the nation, and a staple of the high school football experience in Tennessee.

 

Head Coaches: East- Mark Pemberton (Knoxville Catholic), West- Glenn McCadams (David Lipscomb)
