Good game, Blue Devils....Defense dominated, we created the turnovers and took the game over from there.

 

 

 

QB didn't seem to feel the ill effects of a few INT's last week... He was sharp. Congrats to the offensive line...That was a dominate performance. Watched Gaines on a couple of run plays and he was moving quick and opening HUGE holes. Controlled the GB defensive line. Also appreciated the effort of the RB's....They ran thru arm tackles and showed good balance.

 

A good win. Left no doubt.

 

 

 

 

Dandy, isnt it amazing what happens when you dont turn over the ball 5 times.

I would never think a blowout would occur in this series....But if a team can't win with 5 turnovers and can only score with special teams....well, this was predictable. I know our team was confident going into this game. Everyone was confident. Wanted the game to start and it showed.

 

BTW..... Big Country gets shocked a lot...LOL

Congrats to White House. 36-7 Greenbrier played the worst game of it's season.

Game over..

 

 

 

I thought they played thier worst game against Macon /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":rolleyes:" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />

 

White House deserves no credit for the play tonight.I figured there would be some kind of excuse as to why the mighty GB fell.The defense is just that good Ya'll "dont play wit it" and the offense has more than a few weapons.Ask anyone around here and they will say week 10 was WH worst game[not including Alcoa] but they still found a way to win it.I respect GB coaches and players for not giving up.Some the fans, well, welcome to reality.

I would say congratulations but it appears your fans pat themselves on the back enough without anyone else doiing it. You fans really don't know what humility is, do you?

i don't think round 2 will be nearly as close u all think. Round 1 was our worst perforance of the year and all i've heard all week is that we r out 2 prove a point about the way we played the first time. /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":rolleyes:" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />

      I'm not a Powell grad.  I am a Bearden grad.   My son and daughter are Powell grads.   I did radio play by play for Powell, my last year was 2013. I also did radio play by play for South Doyle, and my last gig was at Maryville before I retired.   My oldest grandson plays in the Karns Middle program, so I see more Karns games than I do Powell these days.  I've been to 3 Powell games since 2013.   I don't have any ties to Powell, haven't since 2013.   No "y'all" there.    And the kid you are talking about does have a very good arm, but he's not the QB that Deuce Rogers is.  Rogers is a legit dual threat guy.  The younger kid now at Clinton, or about to be at Clinton, isn't the dual threat that Rogers is.

      No sir. I watched it specifically and it was very dirty. He cleated the boy on purpose. Apparently, it’s an issue in football as well from what several schools have said. That said, looking forward to a good game 3. ER hit it well in game 2.
