crow
I hate to hear that about your quarterback. Injury at this time of the year is very disappointing. Is he a senior? We'll keep him in our prayers. With that being said though, I really do not think that Oneida would have managed to stay with Hampton this time around. Everything is clicking so well that it is crazy. Probably would have the score closer if your starting QB was there, maybe like 35-7, now its looking worse for the tribe. Sorry guys, but please know that the game against you all at the first of the year, I beleive kick started us and we always look back at that as our game we don't want to play like again. It has been a BIG buildiing block. Look forward to seeing you guys up here and hearing the cannon, hopefully alot. Thanks for the prayers. He is a junior this year. SmashMouth
Now this is a game worth talking about! Man, how many times does this happen ever? I love it! Hampton is a great team. They have owened Reg 2 for the last several years. Anyone who argues that is an idiot! Hats off! Also, The Bulldogs didn't play well in Oneida. But it was 100?° and September. These boys have been deep in the playoffs since they were Freshmen. They are peaking at right time as they should. However, Oneida is/was a very young team. Only 2 senior starters, only 5 seniors period. There are 3 boys who now start on this defense you all didnt even see in September. This is a completely different defense and still very aggressive. This isn't just two teams meeting again in the playoffs. This is two teams that will be dramatically different meeting in the playoffs. Hampton is going to play better. Oneida has gotten much better. The question is "Has the young tribe grown enough to beat the Bulldogs?" Either way fans...better bring your flak jacket...there's gonna be some shrapnal flying around. MULEDOG
I like Oneida in this one, looking for the upset.
huntskp2
With Torrey, Oneida in a close game Without Torrey, Hampton by 14. TL isnt gonna let a team score more than 2 or 3 touchdowns no matter if they are Hampton, Maryville, or even the New England Patriots. paradox
Good luck to both teams. Hopefully an injury free game. Also, Have a safe drive up Oneida faithful. Cmon Dogs, its time to shine. Do what you do, and everything will take care of itself.
CptJackSparrow
That stinks so bad for Onieda's player. I know he wants this game bad. I wanted him here to so that here is no doubt when Hampton beats them again ,but my prayers are with him and I know he'll be back. As far as the game now it wont be close. A mad and motivated Hampton can be a scary thing. Hampton-35 Onieda-

coalfieldcrazy
This Hampton team is quicker and faster than the past two years. I think the bulldogs have shaped up since the last meeting with Oneida. I say the bulldogs roll into the quarter finals. Hampton-28 Oneida-
Dawgfan88
Well, it's time for the rematch everyone has wanted all season. Oneida has a very talented, young team that has a bright future ahead of it. That said, Hampton is really playing at another level completely now than the first time these two tangled in the second game of the season. I don't expect a blowout, but I think the Dogs will win out. The loss of a starting QB at this point of the season is disastrous, esp. playing on the road in a VERY hostile environment. My thoughts and prayers are out to the young man who broke his leg, at the least he has another season to play. To all the Oneida fans coming to Hampton friday, have a safe trip. To all the Bulldog fans, turn out and make some NOISE! Go Dogs!
ALF075
Well if i read correctly, Oneida lost there starting QB. I know Oneida has a good Dfence, but not good enough to overcome an injury like that. Hampton - 28 Oneida -
