Alcoa vs Goodpasture

Here we go again. Unfortunately for GP. It is going to be sad the beat down that they are going to take on Friday. It could get really ugly. Words cant describe how fun it is to continously ruin GPs season. They are dreading the trip down to the boro I can guarantee it. I think if Rankin doesn't call off the dogs Alcoa will be able to pick the score that they want to win by. If DCA be GP for any reason then I will promise you that the only way GP could win would be a miracle. I bet they are getting tired of seeing so many silver balls in that trophy case. Well they better make room for one more. Maybe the best thing for GP to do would be to go up to 3a where they might have a chance at winning. Wait a second that wouldn't work either because Fulton from EAST TENN is in 3a. Well I hope that you guys can get used to winning the silver balls because for the next 3 years you all will be in the same position (second place). Gosh it must be frustrating being from GP. The turf field is just a nightmare for GP. The speed of the Tornadoes is amazing and on turf WOW. Cobb will have 3 touchdowns passing, one running, and maybe an interception. Hodge will have minimum 2 TDs and Thompson 2 picks and 2 TDs. I cant wait for the rest of the state to get to see how good we are this year and how dominate once again we will be. I cant wait until friday and go TORNADOES.

ps. sorry for all the trash talk but I have had negative experiences with the people and players from GP

Intimidated or not GP has no chance to compete with Alcoa. Like it or not...that's the way it is.

I'm so tired of hearing this...So GP should just stay home since there is no way they can win this game? Come on man thats why you "play the game". This has been the year of the upset in college football....maybe its time for an upset in High School Football.

 

There will be no miracle. This talk on here sounds familiar (DCA posts). If I were your team I would just pray that for some reason none of the starters play and half of the second teamers dont play. You all got beat by DCA who is not even better than our third place team in our region. I mean you think about it. This isnt college and this ALCOA you are playing. We don't get beat by people that we are supposed to beat bottom line. You all will be on the other end of a 35 point beat down and mybe more. Sorry just keep hoping but its not going to happen. Alcoa is in a league of their own and nobody in 2a and probably nobody in 3a can touch us. Anyways I wouldn't waiste your time and money by going down to the boro because it will get ugly.Go Alcoa and take that F5 down there with you next week and show the state the dominace of the program.

A new game, a new year...we'll see what happens. I know the East and West TN crowd will beat up on GP, but what else is new? Maybe its because GP is not a "one sport" school, or because its a "bunch of rich private school kids"...I'm not sure why people hate a team so much that CONSISTENTLY has stellar sports and academics.

 

Also, I wouldn't have a handful of state championship rings from my time at GP if I listened to all of you. I would have tucked tail and ran, but we didn't and I'm proud of it.

Sorry about your past experiences a-town! It'd be nice if we all were to talk respectfully about football and the guys who put it on the line each week, without all this emotion and disrespect. No need for it. Its a game, its an adventure for each of them. They deserve the respect of the "talkers" on each side. Not a "you're nothing but trash" attitude. Neither you nor I, nor the rest of us should belittle the other. Cuz if it gets too much "Coach" will shut it down - then we won't get to share our intellect. I've attended every Goodpasture game this season, and last season. Someone mentioned "luck", I can actually say there has been a bit of mystery in the games, but I wouldn't exactly call it luck. I would describe it as angels that caterpults Goodpasture to the win - honestly. It's been quite powerful and mystical. You'll see, come to the "boro" and experience the "magic".
