What a workout today, my goodness and right before the VTC tomorrow, but ill tell you thats why we have one of the fiercest workouts in america. We started out with a 12 lap warmup, then we stretched, did our plyometrics, went to the weight room did 3 sets of squats at 400-450 with a 5 sec rest. then went back outside and ran a 100X1600 in 4:20-4:25 with a 3.1424231892 sec./pi rest. then a 5 mile cool down.

It looks like you got a little bit more rest than you should have.

I see. That's not too bad, but the latest workout out of the MIT Engineers track team is the following:

E to the U, DU, DX, E to the X, DX (# of laps for the warmup, use line 3 as X) of and (let u=x+1)(Let X=line 3)

Cosine, Secant, Tangent, Sine (using pi to solve for these, they will cancel, so multiply 1 by the first part of workout)

3.14159 (then multiply this by the answer of step two)

Integral, Radical, mu, dv (take this to find the amount of rest in between each and multiply this by the last line)

Slip Stick, Slide Rule, MIT (don't multiply by the MIT part)

I'm not smart enough to figure out the last two lines, but it amounts to part of the following:

1. 128.8055147 warm up laps

2. 404.6541169 200s

3. ?

4. ?

If anyone can actually solve lines three and four, it would be greatly appreciated.

Oh, and use 3.14159 to solve anything else if you're going to try.

Just for the record, I did not make this up. The MIT cheer that is chanted at all football (yes MIT has football), basketball, etc. The chant is:

E to the U, DU, DX, E to the X, DX

Cosine, Secant, Tangent, Sine

3.14159

Integral, Radical, mu, dv

Slip Stick, Slide Rule, MIT

Earlier today I received a Report about some posts on this thread. I was working at the time and did not have time to read the thread. So, I hid it for awhile. I then deleted the inappropriate posts, the ones that had nothing to do with track. I then put this thread back online. In doing so I greatly confused one of you and I apologize. You are now welcome to talk about A/AA track once again.
