Is Lawrence Co. that good or did Columbia have a bad night? The game was closer than the score indicated. Both teams hit the ball pretty well, Lawrence County came up with some big plays on defense that kept taking the momentum away from Columbia. This district looks to be very well matched and anybody can beat anybody on any given day.

You cannot count anyone out yet. As the season goes on teams will get more fired up and want it more than others, and that is when things may change. All teams need to keep their head up and play their best.

A big game today between Shelbyville and Columbia. If Shelbyville is gonna be a player in the district it better win tonight at home. They are a veteran team and they need to step up and start playing that way. The leadoff hitter needs to take more pitches and get on base. They need to utilize her speed better. She is the key to their team scoring runs. Pitching, for the most part has been ok. Good luck eaglettes and go win a big one.

They need to be agressive at the plate and score more runs. They can do it it all comes down to confidence and working together as a team. Their line up is the same as last year with a couple of additions, so they need to get in there and get a win. They need to go in there relaxed and knowing what kind of team they are, a WINNING TEAM Good luck eaglettes, play hard and get a win like we know you can. Very BIG wins for Lawrence County, Shelbyville and Lincoln County

Very BIG wins for Lawrence County, Shelbyville and Lincoln County A big win for Shelbyville for sure. I don't think the other teams in the district take Shelbyville seriously. They better start. Best pitching performance in the career of the senior pitcher from Shelbyville. Clutch hitting by Lamb and Bell. They also played without their leadoff hitter who was sick. Big win, but you have to continue to play that way.

Just keep it up Shelbyville and things will start going your way. All the girls pulled together and played as a team and contributed to the win. From the pitching, catching, hitting, and defense. You girls should be proud of yourself and know you can win. The next game is against Coffee County and they need to take the same confidence they had in this game on to the Coffee County and pull out another Win. Good luck ladies, you deserve this win, just keep that in mind.
Way2Go
We know about Shelbyville and Columbia, what went wrong in CC? Have they ever lost 3 out of 4 district games?

Many key plays on defense by the Eaglettes to hold Columbia in the last few innings. Not great plays but the routine plays which they have struggled with over the last few years. Great win Eaglettes!!!
