Some believe that from past results that the voters do not take into account just the year they are voting on. So who will be in the running for 2009???????????

Molly Wallsmith from Bradford looked very good at the state tourney.

Well, my favorite player from Clarkrange comes to mind,Kelli Reed.

Of course, one of my favorite players from JC Laken Leonard.

Kayla Christopher has to be mentioned. NUmbers are outstanding.

Crange is just losing one senior and she wasn't a starter so yes I'd say they are several players to watch from the range. But Kelli Reed for sure has a run for miss bb

Molly Heady has got to start getting some credit for the work she does in the toughest single a district in the state. She has led this district in scoring and rebounding for two years in a row. I believe if her team could go a little bit farther in tournament play she would get more recognition. She is also an outstanding student. She has a 4.0.

Christopher and Leonard should be two of the three. Some dark horses from East Tennessee would be Cloudland's Brooke Johnson and a real dark horse from Coalfield, Alaina Jordan.

Danielle Proudfit is a Senior this year and headed to play at Martin Methodist...What's sad for Danielle is that she's Bradford's best player and didn't even get elected to all-tournament at the state tournaments...

 

Molly Wallsmith is very good and very quick...If she can get keep the help that she did this year with Brianna Tubbs (only a Junior this year) and get some help coming up from the Jr. High they could be back at the state tournaments...Coach Paschall has got that program back in the right direction and kudos to him for that!
