Romie Reed from John Overton High School will be the first Boys" Basketball Coach at Cane Ridge High School. Coach Reed is a good coach and an even better person, John Overton's loss is CR's gain.

Why will I be wrong? Fresh blood invigorates a program(sometimes). But now that I think about it, I may be wrong, because who really wants the basketball position at Overton anyway. They haven't been good since Brandon Wharton graced the hallways.

Overton's basketball team is horrible, I see why Coach Reed left. Good luck to anyone who takes that job. Metro sports are a joke.

Perhaps they should give it to William Belliford, a former Bobcat great who played for Tommy Griffith. This would enable them to move forward and embrace the past at the same time.

Maybe it's just me, but I have a problem with someone lobbying for a job in the newspaper. Maybe Fuller got a raw deal the first time around but that doesn't mean he should automatically get the job back. Is it possible that this article came out to ward off some of the other possible candidates? Who wrote that article?
