New HS opening in Nashville next year, about 1 mile from current Antioch High School. Has this job been posted? I have noticed that a lot of the coaching positions have been filled, but not advertised. Will the basketball position be the same. It also seems that there is a trend of Glencliff coaches that are going to Cane Ridge. IMHO, is this a smart move, the best athletic program at the 'Cliff has been the wrestling team. I guess the newness of the school is intriguing.

that wouldnt be a smart hire Glencliff hasnt won more than 5 games since the 03-04 season

Metro has posted it. They just haven't really advertised it. All football and basketball jobs are posted for at least 2 weeks before the process can begin to hire.

It would really be sad if they took the basketball coach since he just got dumped at Glencliff. Would they do that in metro?

Who was the other coaches that were dismissed?

I think Sizemore at MLK, Mangrum at Stratford, McKee at Overton, maybe some middle school coaches and probably some coaches that have left the system will try to get back in. It is probably going to be a good job so look for others outside of Metro to give it a shot. I'm sure you might see one or two head coaches in Metro try to improve their situation.
