reasons256
CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. - One midstate city received national recognition Wednesday morning but not in a good way. The city has been named the worst city in America to raise a family. The editors of Best Life Magazine gave that dubious distinction to Clarksville. The evaluation was based on several categories, which included schools, quality of life, healthcare, divorce rates and housing. Clarksville got the worst ranking because of low funding for education - less than $7,000 per student in the 2005-2006 school

66in74
WOW! I agree! I travel to Clarksville quite often and I don't believe that for one minute. There are numerous cities, that I travel too; that would rank below Clarksville in my opinion. /dry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="

Rutherford County? 109th!! http://www.borowatch.com/ada_stats_05_06.html Yes, and that means we win on LESS money. Somebody up there may want to point that out to the County Folks and administrators. I know if the TV stations had it they WOULD point it out to them.
