HAHA sorry about the mis-conception, I understood what you asked/ said after I posted my reply. You tend to get so used to people "ripping" on every statement, therefor you find yourself in constant "defense" of your commentary.

Im a student at the University of Nebraska (well I'm a gymnast), but I spent a lot of time with the entire team at Franklin (so I would hope I am slightly more informed than the typical fan), but thanks for the statement anyway.

(5-0) Franklin hosts the (4-1 [currently]) Brentwood Bruins in two weeks. It is two of the best teams in the state, it is two teams with a history, and two teams that are consistent competitors (year-after-year)

It is #1 vs #2 on Friday night at Howard Gamble Stadium, can you possibly ask for more?

Unlike the games of the past, this year it won't be close. FHS will score frequently with their balanced attack. Bruins just don't have enough offense to threaten in this game. This could be ugly early on.

The thing I like BEST about this rivalry is that it seems both teams truly RESPECT each other. Its seems it has been very classy and no real name calling or trash talking outside of the game. It usually over many years has come down to one of these two teams.

I have to give the edge to Franklin due to it being in their house...Only the second home game for them this year.

It will be a loud, rowdy environment. Franklins fan base has been loud and very involved ...even at all their away games....listen to them on WC-TV game vs Indy.....

Franklin 28

    • Eagleville couldn’t catch up to Jones, he did have his location issues but in that game Eagleville popped up everything and the one hit they did have could have been ruled an error. Jeffcoat was a lot sharper in the beginning of the season last year than the end. ER ran out of pitching and still was in striking distance but none the less the better team one. Last seasons tournament was A LOT more balanced and talented. South Pitts starter is a Lefty who was low 80’s but couldn’t maintain his velo throughout the  outing, their #2 was more impressive last year, we knocked him around this year and his mph was down some. Their #3 isn’t bad neither, throws a lot of strikes and sits high 70’s.
    • He actually had a really solid spring.  I could see him getting some backup snaps on offense and be a regular on special teams.  Really athletic kid who can run.
    • Heard Seq has gotten a lot stronger this off season. Can’t wait to see how the boys do this year
