huntskp2
I'm somewhat surprised Oneida didnt move up passed FSC, other then that it seems about right. Grace may be a bit to high still, and greenback could be more like 8 or 7 even.
BIGblueLBs36
I don't understand how these two teams are ranked so high. They are overrated. When they beat a non muffin team, then maybe they should be considered to be in the top 10. If you ever decide to actually get off your butt and play the game, maybe you will quit downing other teams, like I said before you can only beat the teams on your schedule, and what are worried about, your beloved Pirates are number 1, relax and enjoy the season, because we all know that you dont play, so it should be easy for you sit back and enjoy watching the kids play. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

You can't tell me there 10 teams in your region!!! The spots we have opened, we play 2A playoff contenders and 2A state ranked teams. Tyner, Boyd Buchanan, Marion County, etc..., and we scrimmage 3A teams in the spring and fall, and still beat them.

We can't even get one team in the top 13 and region 5 has 3 teams in there. Maybe one day we will grow up to be just like region 5. lol

All those teams are around your area so you do not have to travel great distances to play non-region games, thats what we do, all of our non-region games are teams in a higher classification except one; Pigeon Forge(3-A), Gibbs(3-A), Grainger County(3-A), and Chuckey-Doak(2-A). Thats the only teams close that we can play that are within a reasonable driving distance. When we go on the road in our region we have to travel up to two hours away just for a region game, so why would we schedule our non-region games to somewhere that we have to travel forever to play? Sorry we dont schedule Catholic or Fulton as non-region games, but why would we, we are not going to run up on anybody like that in 1-A, and if you all can compete with all these teams go ahead and step on up in class and see how many titles you win. I'll go ahead and predict that your beloved Pirates would get beat by about 28+ against Alcoa, you all are the class of 1-A no doubt, but we play teams that are from schools that are bigger than us just like you do, are they of the same calibur, maybe not, but we play above our heads on most Friday nights, if we were in a talent rich area like you all, we might schedule some of the teams you do, but hey we're just a little ole country school having a good year and for some reason that ticks you big city folks off, well apologies from us, sorry we are having a good season, next year we will try to be insufficient as far as the rankings go, and besides, its not like we are putting ourselves in the rankings, sportswriters across the state are, so why dont you get in touch with them and tell them how bad we are. Have you seen us play, so can you give an accurate analysis of our team, if so great, if not well quit runnin your VACCUM! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

Typically you have 1 or 2 big guns in the region who beat up on everyone else. This particular season every team in your region already has at least 1 region loss. You happen to be the (SEC conference) of high school football and there is no clear cut favorite right now.

I just don't see anyone in the small 1a that could ecen compete.

Especially since they can compete with all these bigger teams, Im not saying they cant, because they obviously can, so why not just show everybody how good you are and move up. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
UTfan
back to the part about travel, I'm not real familiar with most regions, but there cant be many regions as outta wack as 1a. Unaka, Hampton, Cloudland all have 2 hour drives to Cosby, grace, and Jellico (more like 3.5 here) and vice versa for them back to us. Even within the county Unaka to Cloudland is about 40min.
