This is a different football team than the one who played siegel, BA, and brentwood. Smyrna had no passing game then, Steve Wilson has now come around and is getting comfortable in the pocket and out of the pocket. He is a strong candidate for most improved on this football team.

 

 

 

So let me get this straight....Smyrna has evolved and changed since the start of the season but Oakland has not! The team that we played while Smyrna was on their winning streak (and won!) has changed drastically. Oakland shouldn't even bother suiting up, folks. Smyrna has changed!

Seriously, any Oakland fans that want to may join the parents in front of the concession stand at 5:45 to pray over the field and the safety of BOTH teams. We wouldn't stop any Smyrna fans from joining us either!

Hope everyone is adding some layers under their pads tonight. It is going to be colllllld! I love it when it is cold b/c it runs off the teenyboppers that are there to socialize and not watch the game.

 

One thing I can tell you that Smyrna WILL win tonight.....that is the Battle of the Bands. I am so disappointed in ours. I never could understand why the OHS band needs the whole 2nd half off.....they never seemed to break a sweat enough to need one. I never thought I would say it but wish ours was more like Blackman's.
