I am so jacked up for this game, I have already Terry Tate form tackled 4 people here at work!!! I am going to have to leave so that I can calm down. For us old has been football players, we remember the feeling you get before a big game like this. I am like everyone else here in SP, I had a hard time sleeping because I was so excited about this game. Everybody have a safe trip up the Creekbank!! Mike, Tom, Sportsman, PirateP....look for me at the game. I will be the one running across the field screaming my head off!!!

GO PIRATES!!!!!!!!!!

Best of luck to my neighbors to the west. This will be a great game to watch. I will be there rooting for the jackets with my good friend #1jacketfan. South Pitt will no doubt break a few big plays during the game. If Trousdale doesn't get rattled by the "big play" and stick to what they have been doing all year, good things will happen. Kickoff temp around 30 degrees, wind chill at 25 degrees and falling all game. I pick the jackets on the creekbank 29-28 in OT.

Good online article from the Times Free Press about South Pittsburg with diaries, interviews and highlights.

PIRATES WIN!!! PIRATES WIN!!

PoweP talked to the kinfolk over in Lebanon and he said that this game is the talk around the Middle TN area!!This is what we as Pirate fan's have been wanting and yea sometimes you better watch out for what you wish for,but this is the only way I would want to continue or end the season against a great team like this. Both team's I believe after the game can look back and say,Man what a game!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't believe that is has been mentioned, but I may be wrong. S.P has not traveled in the playoffs since 2003. None of the current players on this roster has played in a road playoff game. This has to be an advantage for T.C.

I disagree playing at Tyner is all the road game experience you need...You can bank on that

    • Remember when 92 got a call from the coaches wife telling him to stop criticizing ole Flip Flops?  Said it was hurting his feelings.  Can't make this stuff up.  What a circus.  That may have been it for 92, probably the last loyal fan left.

    • My esteemed interlocutor, regrettably, I find myself bereft of your contact information. Moreover, it behooves me to clarify that I do not currently occupy the esteemed position of coach. Were I to hold such a position, rest assured, trepidation towards yourself and your team would find no foothold within my disposition. Permit me to opine that Gallatin's achievements appear, in my estimation, notably devoid of commendable accolades, save for the distinguished presence of Volunteer State, where my progeny, with admirable distinction, attained scholastic honors. Securing the contact information of the newly appointed head coach upon their assumption of duties should pose no undue challenge for me.
    • Alas, your inquiry persists without resolution. Within the intricate tapestry of criteria delineated, the identification of a singular candidate who effortlessly encapsulates the synthesis of essential attributes proves to be a formidable task. It must be noted that the mere apprenticeship under a revered mentor does not inevitably confer suitability for the esteemed role within the Trousdale County coaching hierarchy. Indeed, compatibility transcends mere proximity, necessitating a profound alignment of values, principles, and competencies to ensure a harmonious union with the esteemed responsibilities inherent to this distinguished position.
