Tnbreakers
I believe that Ricky Norris now at Oak Ridge would fit into this category. Great knowledge of the game and good people skills to relate the the players of this generation. Look for him to have a lot of success. Stokomo
If you are looking for a great Young coach, Todd Whittemore is one of the best at his age. Todd has a hard-work no-nonsense about the game.Maybe I'm a little biased since we roomed at King College together and now we're together at Volunteer, but I've watched him in action and can say he works hard to prepare these kids at Volunteer. And remember this is FARM country, not basketball heaven. The players play hard for him because he coaches hard for them.
slim
Lockard at Clinton, Chad Smith at South Doyle is a real student of the game and he gets alot out of his kids. Chad is a solid young coach with a great future. The new guy at Mt. Juliet is a pretty good coach also.
realcat83
Boys---Chris Lockard from Clinton, Ricky Norris for sure, and Marsh at Alcoa are all three great, young, enthusiastic coaches Girls--- Galyon at Morristown West is a definate, Lawson, an assistant at Lewis County who worked before with an AAU team, and the young man who coached with Lawson with the L.C. AAU team in the past, Jason something, great young men who were enthusiastic as well as great teachers of the game. Any of the three would be great starts to a program. TnBball
Al Cooper from Clarksville Northeast is a good young coach..He has about 10 years total head Coaching in 10-AAA along with a few good years assisting at Northeast before he took the program over. He was at Goodpasture and other private schools in Nashville. His Track record speak for hisself.
