Meeting a district opponent 5 times in 1 season

Does anyone know if a district team has faced another district team 5 times in one season like:

 

Reg. season game 1

Reg. season game 2

District Championship

Region Championship

State Championship

 

This is probably more likely to happen in girls, but I was just wondering...

 

I'm not sure but the 97-98 Perry County team may have played Columbia Academy 5 times...

 

May have happened with AAA memphis teams...

Not sure about 5 times, but several years ago....maybe 2003/4, it seemed like JCS played Middleton every other game?

bolivar and Jackson southside 2004 I think played 2 regular season district and region championships and for the state title bolivar won all 5

I believe it was 1978 when Knoxville Rule and Knoxville Holston ( Class AA, both schools now closed) played five times. They split during the regular season but Holston went on to win the district, region, and state title games. Both teams were loaded that year.

You are right about it happening in the girls. I think it happened once last year, maybe other times as well, with Jackson Co. girls vs. Clarkrange girls. I think with Livingston girls vs. Upperman girls as well.

I think in the late 80s or early 90s South Greene's girls beat Unicoi County's girls five times in that very scenario...those were the only losses for UC that season. I can't remember the exact year.

According to some older relatives of mine I think when reggie white played at howard one year they lost 5 total games all to riverside 2 regular season, district, region, and state finals
