83SouthRebel
Quick question about West's stadium. How large is the visitor seating at your stadium? I need to decide when to leave in order to get a good seat. Thanks for your replies.
TheGoldenBoot
Eh it's pretty decent I guess. Schools that bring larger fans in usually start arriving at 445ish.

dbFAN91
Will Jordan Cassell be one of the starting runningbacks for South? I hope so! Good kid. Very fast. Hope he gets a chance this year.
jhilts
Will Jordan Cassell be one of the starting runningbacks for South? I hope so! Good kid. Very fast. Hope he gets a chance this year. My unofficial, second hand depth chart.... 1. B. Taylor: Sure to take first handoff and many more. 2. Cassell: What you said. 3. Brent(?) Hubbard: Big, strong, not as quick, but still a junior as is Cassell. 4. Clint Phillips: Trying to work him in. Could be workhorse. 5. Riley Anderson: Fast, tough, JV year. Sophmore. Subject to change at any time. Could go with 2 backs, QB under center more this year. Could be Phillips leading the way for BT or Cassell or Hubbard? BatmanDB
South will head East after beating West 35-34.I say it will come down to a miss handled extra point.Really, from what I'm hearing, you never know how this game will unfold. SSReb
Go SS Rebels. Pads today? Hoping for extremely productive practices and praying they are injury free.

I doubt that. West has two really good kickers and a holder who hasn't fumbled a snap (knock on wood) in the biggest situations (Red Bank last year etc.). SSHS_Rebel
Well, I'm glad it's football time again in the ET... And luckily the good ole boys decided to come to my new residence for the first game of the season. (Good planning there, lol) I have heard quite a bit about our fellas this year, and I'm hoping they'll do as good as I think they will. Of course, I would never be satisfied with them just doing good.... And what time is kickoff if people are getting there at 4:45 for seating? ace25man
I think it will be a good game. It looks like it may be a battle in the trenches with both teams having good OL and DL. I am worried a little bit about South's secondary because they have been burned deep a few times in scrimmages but their run defense is solid and have some of the best Linebackers in East Tennessee. South will have to bring their A game to West they might have some struggles running the ball early at strong defensive front but their passing game has looked really good so far in preseason. West has a senior defensive lineman Austin Sowell (6-5, 235) with a 40-yard dash time of 4.77 that's being recruited by a lot of schools. The also have another lineman Isaac Mobley (6-1, 334) that they say can bench 300lbs and squat 600lbs and 2 solid Linebackers Preston Williams (6-3, 200) and Sam Purkey (6-2, 200). West also has all 5 of their starting Offensive Line back this year. What they do say is that West does not have a lot of depth right now. I have never been to Knox West myself but I plan on going down to watch the game. The weather forecast the next several days looks like we will get a lot of rain so I wonder how the field conditions will be? I Say South 28 West 24 in a hard fought game. SSHS_Rebel
So far it's just been drizzles in Knoxville, and I've also sadly noticed that has not had much success (except in one game) in the rain in the past couple years...(Boone, who got slaughtered...lol) We'll see how it goes. Does anybody have the address for Knox West so I can dig out the ol' GPS?
