Nobody is underestimating the roadrunners...but AE just barely beat morristown last week(almost gave it away at the end)Ooltewah destroyed Tyner(the score could've been 50-60 to nothing) 2nd:the players and coaches aren't taken AE lightly,I'm sure.........BUT,I've yet to hear one roadrunner fan give a prediction or a logical point that would make anyone think owls WON'T roll over AE. LET'S HEAR IT A-E FANS!!!! There is more to football,than running outside and throwing deep.So tell us what is going to happen? or think will happen......

AE is a very good team with alot of speed.....but i think Ooltewah will just have too much depth for AE to overcome. Ooltewah 35 AE 21

Your right...Ooltewah will lose. A-E is by far the better team.Owls defense isn't good enough to stop the all mighty road-runners! Heard on the radio today,how ooltewah looked winded and out of shape in the Tyner game,Smith was gased because he went both ways and because he didn't have a "gut-check" offseason,Owls o-line is in shambles,No QB,no threat at running back,no depth,all our players left.........and had someone tell me that Owls will not make playoffs,because Ooltewah is soft,lazy,no leadership,Smith doesn't care(he's gone to TN),Reed has no-arm and football has passed MONROE by..!! SO,I will let the "CRAZY-BABIES" take care of any response from the Owl-faithful. SEE YOU AND THE ROADRUNNERS ON THE 50@7:30!!!!

Looks like the rain is moving out for the afternoon. Hopefully it won't start again this evening. Looking forward to a big crowd for the home opener and an Owl victory. I don't care by how many as long as we get the W.

Ooltewah is playing pretty crappy here in the 1st quarter on offense. Zero first downs, 2 turnovers.

 

Down 6-0 right now.

 

Turned it over on a fumble just now but managed to make AE go 4 and out and not give up anything more.

Another three and out - can't just get by without a passing game against teams with talent.

AE gets inside Ooltewah 20 again and can't convert on 4 downs.

 

But Owls go three and out again......... snap goes over Jon Long's head but he managed to pick it up quickly and still get a monster kick off... from his 20 and AE gets it at their 35.. wow.

Looks like Ooltewah will be down 6-0 at half barring some huge play. Wow. Could and probably should be a lot worse too... hmm..

Yup AE 6 to 0 at half. My dad is at this game. Said AE is playing a lot better than Ooltewah and Smith hasn't shown up yet.

Smith has made a few plays... but of course teams are trying to play around him this year and double teaming him - it's got nothing to do with Ooltewah's defense. Ooltewah's offense just plain sucks at this point. Defense has been on the field the whole game.
