h2odog
you are sooo good!!!! Congrats on the win! So....what was the game like? Evenly played, played in the middle of the field, etc? I heard that SAA played very skillfully and with a lot of speed. Was this at SAA or at Hutch? Inquiring minds want to know! Sorry just got home from 600 mile round trip drive to watch water puppy play in her first college game. They won 8-2. SAA did not come out with their game strategy the first half and as a result it was 1-1 at the break. (Played at MUS) Coach Bobby let loose on the them at half and they scored 4 in the first 10 to 15 minutes of the second half. I was not taking pictures and visited too much to know the real details. When they got up 5-1, he started subbing. SAA is BCHS last year with speed and scoring ability. No sense trying to hide it, they are only going to get better as their timing gets a step better. They are young and fast. The scores of every game so far could have been much higher. Hutch looked good and had a lot of ball time, but the speed and depth of SAA was to much. I hope they stay healthy after the past two years of injuries. Hope you guys find the back of the net. We need all the strength we can muster from the West. coachof3
Warren Co defeated Dekalb 6-1 Warren does not play the toughest schedule this year but they are young and will be an improving team over the next 4 years lots of freshman with some talent. [/color] Please say hello to water puppy for us and congrats on that win there. Nice summation on your game versus Hutch. Sounds like you came out in a whirlwind at the half and threw Hutch off their game....we will have to watch for that....wonder what Bobby said to them to get them so fired up?!?! A couple of quick goals can really affect the chemistry of the opponent that is tough to ever recover from. We still have our speed and talent up top....just need to find the net more often off of our shots! And yes....let's make a huge statement from the West! Agnes moved the ball around extremely well in the second and that opened things up. Even their young ones that came in, did so with with great poise and confidence. When they got the 3rd goal, things seem to just snowball. While St. Agnes played great, I think that our biggest enemy was ourselves that night. Too many mental errors. Its been a long week. 6 games in 6 days after playing 2 today. Not the preferred method, but sometimes you have to do what you have to do. I think it is safe to say that St. Agnes was the best team we have played so far. The combination of overall team speed and balance are why.
