wrangler615
No MBA cannot. I see BA pulling this one out. They just have to much talent for this hurt MBA team on a "down" year.

hdcastle
I agree with wrangler, this should be a blowout.
Redtwin
On paper, it looks like it should be a blowout, but so did the Ryan game. The BGA game looked like it should have been an easy win for MBA. You never know...
shakinthefat
On paper, it looks like it should be a blowout, but so did the Ryan game. The BGA game looked like it should have been an easy win for MBA. You never know... I don't see "blowout" in the stats. W/L record has MBA with 1 more win. Both are 3-2 in league. Total offense: MBA 3oo yds/gm (230 yds rushing/70 yds passing) BA 378 yds/gm (216 yds rushing/ 161 yds passing) Scoring: MBA 23 points/gm BA 33 points/gm Red zone Scoring: MBA 81% BA 74% Historical Facts: Last 6 meetings MBA has won 4, usually by 10 points or less. Since 1997 when the DII was formed, MBA has be in championship game 7 times, BA 8 times. The 2 teams have met 4 times head to head in championship games since 1997, MBA has won all 4. Maybe this game is it's not the "traditional rivalry" like FRHS vs. MBA or the "jealousy rival" of MBA vs. EHS. But it is a game both teams and schools want to win badly. The team with the least turnovers will win. Inconsistent play plagues both teams this year. MBA has to establish a running game, and stop BA's running game. BA has to balance the run and pass game for their offense to work. If BA can put a lot of points on the board they will win. Should be a great HS football game. oldgoldandorange91
More Historical Facts MBA has won the last three, and I think 7 of last 8 Since D2 qas started, MBA has 6 championships, BA has 1 MBA is ahead in the alltime series 13-6, and has won 13 of 17 But this year is another year, and history means little, but I think that MBA will bea able to pull one out 17-
KWoodroof
No word yet on which MBA defense is scheduled for Friday: the group that played against Baylor and Ryan, or the other one.

It seems like it's a tossup as to whether the good or bad side of the MBA D is on display every friday nights
bellringer83
Well, the bad D definitely showed up today. I am so tired of watching the same guys make the same mistakes every week. Not sure what these guys show you in practice, coach, but there are certainly not "gamers." When your defense gets beat play after play after play, did it ever occur to you to substitute? The same 11 guys who missed tackles in the 1st quarter surprisingly became 11 tired guys who missed the same tackles in the 2nd, in the 3rd, and in the 4th. I don't think there was a defensive substitution the entire game.
rollredroll
Congrats to the Eagles - good skill poistions, hard hitters. Fitz Lassing just wows me more and more each week, He is all over the field on O and D, and he had a laser spiral punt that went 60 yards in the air tonight. He may be MBA's best all-round player this decade. I'm not even going to try to guess the brackets until this time next week.

I have not been able to keep up with MBA so much this year, but I did remember your kicker as being spectacular in years past. Did he have an off night? Is he a senior this year?
