runninblind
Looking foward to Friday night...2 great teams 2 great cities ( trailer parks and all )and a great atmosphere for high school football...From 1975 till 1993 I only missed 2 Greenwave football games and the 1992 game in Paris was one of them..I so look foward to my first visit to great city of Paris ..From what I have read on this post the Henry county faithfull have some class act fans as we do in Gallatin... Seems these 2 teams are evenly matched and I believe one of these teams will end up in Cookeville ,with a little bit of luck ( no matter how strong the team there is always a little bit of luck involved on the way to winning a championship)..Gallatin was lucky in this game in 1992 and went on to win it all so maybe this year its Henry county 's turn...May the luckiest team win... P.S. Go Big G !!!!!!!!!!
Red Warrior
Time for some honesty!!! There are no really good teams on the west side of the state! HC is the cream, but the rest of this side are a bunch of very average teams. Yes, some are better than others, but no really good ones. That includes the Memphis teams as well. With this extremely expanded playoff system, plus 6 classes it's really pretty hard to get very excited about the playoffs until at least the 4th round. Gallatin, you had a nice year. I'm not trying to take away from any teams accomplishments, but simply stating facts. If you combined the 6 classes back down to 3 as in all other sports you'd see some really great playoff games!!! But, it's about $$$ so there you go! Henry County has a fine team. They may win it all. You know nothing about Memphis football apparently. Mitchell and Melrose will beat anyone in ANY classification. The winner of their game next week will be the favorite in the semifinals no matter who they play. I am pulling for Henry County but Mitchell and Melrose are THE two most talented teams in this state. Unless Henry County can get to the semifinals and somehow beat one of them (which they usually seem to figure out how to do), then one of them will win it all. At least that is my strong prediction. theydontcare
OK, 32 hours to go, it is either put up or shut up. Trust me, Henry County has shut up my teams this year, and it is the Red Wave vs. the Green Wave. I think the red and green in that stadium will be an interesting color match up with fans. By the way, who does the HUGE middle field emblem. Man it was massive, and I bet takes hours to complete. Best emblem I have seen all year, well except Father Ryan's. I am feeling disappointed. I hate the end of season blues. I thought you would want to go watch NE Play since a lot of the boys played for you for a while. Good luck to you this off season. domer16
Just a little curious about kick off and punt team on Henry Co side.... I hear they are a little slow.... and Gallatin is hungry for anotherblock.

theydontcare
Patriot kick off will sell their soul to stop you inside the 20 yard line. Patriot Punt team, wait, do they punt! Punter is big as a freight train, averages about 35 yards a punt. Patriot Punt Return Team - look out for number 2, STUD Patriot FG team - Just may win the game for them

OldJacketFan
Have to say that I believe that the Patriots take this game 35 to 27. Gallatin you are in for a dog fight Friday night, and this Patriot team just seems to want it more than anyone. You will be impressed with their size and speed and they way they play together on the field. Just glad my Jackets will not see many of those players again. It was a rough night for us last week, and if you don't prepare you will have that same long drive home. They are a very well coached football team. Hope my Jackets get there in the near future. Good luck to the District 10AAA champions. You have the Yellow Jacket support!
theydontcare
Henry County is good, and will be tough to beat. Just still see Gallatin winning a close game in the forth quarter to pull the upset. After seeing both teams play this year, I just think the edge is to the Green Wave. Turn out the lights, Patriot's party is once again over!
Gtowner
I am so pumped about this game that i am leaving work early tomorrow just to prep for the game. From all I am hearing, HC has a great kicking game, but (not to gloat) I am confident that Gallatin's is better. Satterfeild has hit two 50+ this year and just missed (wide right) a 56 last week at NW that would have been good from 60. I am already impressed by the hospitality of the HC fans. I have NEVER been invited to tailgate with an opponents' fans. This should be a really fun trip to Paris! See yall tomorrow! GO BIG G
