Footballmom, the Alcoa fans have a great deal of respect for the Loudon program. Best of luck to both teams and hope we have a hard fought, injury free game next week. Obviously, I will be pulling for Alcoa but am also hoping that all the kids are able to be the best they can be. Both teams have earned a great deal of respect and should be proud of their accomplishments this year. Hope you enjoy your visit to our school and have some fun at the game. To all the kids playing in this game; play hard, enjoy yourselves and keep your head held high no matter the outcome!!

Be safe in your travels and have celebration in your heart for these young men as they put their heads down with grit and determination at each line of scrimmage. Hope that all posters on this thread are respectful to each other and show some class!

No worries about trying to defend spread formations or 50 passes during the night. These are 2 tough, run oriented teams that are big and strong in the offensive & defensive lines. This game will be over (time wise) early enough to go to dinner afterwards. I'd say order some ice packs and bandages :roflol:

Nothing really new. Alcoa is a decided favorite. Loudon has a chance if Alcoa makes some mistakes, which is rare. Good luck to both of our district 4 bretheren. I'll be supporting the winner all the way to state.

this should definately be a tough fought game! loudon has the utmost respect for alcoa! i just pray our team doesnt get intimidated by alcoa (which to me seems to be the norm...kinda like when the vols play the gators)!

I seriously doubt that will be the case this time. loudon has come a LONG way since our first meeting with alcoa this year. they have much more confidence and they should! :roflol:

Either way...I am EXTREMELY proud of this team! They have had an amazing year :roflol:

Loudon has had a good year, except for the CAK & Alcoa games. You'll see a different Alcoa than you saw the first meeting as well. Our qb has come a long, long way since that first meeting. Sure, we have some things we can work on (who doesn't?), but our boys are much improved since Week 2, as I'm sure Loudon is.

Alcoa is focused (as always during the playoffs) and isn't coming off of a win the caliber as last time. Loudon won't have the advantage of a shortened 1st quarter.

Alcoa wins this by 24.

There are lots of reasons to be proud of both teams and I don't see that Loudon will be intimidated by Alcoa at all. I believe they will play hard and with confidence.

My game score prediction is Alcoa 35, Loudon 14

    • When she starts farting around with the football team the powers in Maryville will run her out of town on a rail and everyone connected with letting her in the door. You saw what happened when Alcoa's radio announcer thought he was coming to Maryville, the people rose up and stopped it.
    • 20 but had 5-6 not dressed every game. It went down towards the end due to injuries and obviously only 15 got to dress for the state tournament. Then, they only lost 2 from this year and gain 8 from the middle school for next year
    • As somebody mentioned before, this is going to result in a massive lawsuit, can you imagine professional "educators" actually having the conversation about getting "the bad kids" out of the high school?  And the head coach asking directly to change grades, gets turned down, comes back again and gets it approved?  This is unbelievable.  In addition to the lawsuit, the state Department of Education is going to come down extremely hard on this.  WYSH is on the war path.  There could be dozens more lose their jobs by the time this is over.  And yeah the real shame is the kids being affected that literally had nothing to do with this and actually worked hard to earn their grades.
    • I've heard Powell from someone who talked to him. I saw the kid two days ago and I should of pulled over and talked with him and wished him well where ever he goes. It will be a ale of a loss for us because I don't believe we have anyone in the stable good as him from what I seen in the spring.
    • I would have to think that the firing of the 2 teachers is just the beginning of future moves.  If not, it is woefully short.  If the AC school board thinks that the damage is just limited to Clinton, they are sadly mistaken.  Any outsider would view the whole school system as suspect, and rightly so.
