  1. 1. Who will win?

There is always a possiblity for a win for Will Co. schools but hard to say there would be one with a program on the rise again like Oakland, and a flip-flop one like Indy.

Oakland Scouting Report-

-RUN & GUN, and put in a few play actions

-Don't know what Defense you run but if on an obvious passing downs you might want your DE's to go on the outside. Thompson can roll outside pocket and looks upfield very good, if you make him scramble in the middle he'll be screwed

-Play smart and safe (what killed Siegel was poor special teams and lots of flags)

Independence Scouting Report-

-Protect your QB, give Thompson that extra 2 seconds and it could be for 6

-Give J. Norman the ball more! Ran 6 times for 36 yards 6 yards per carry thats pretty good

-LB's have to set up in the running game. They have improved from last year in pass coverage but have to get to that running back quicker.

Thats my take anyways but what do I know? Can't wait for the game never been to the O-Zone before :popcorneater:

How about we just watch the game and see what happens? Its really annoying to sit here and listen to everyone talk about how bad Oakland is going to beat Indy. Yeah they should considering every kid on their team looks like Shaquille O'Neal. They must have good printers for their microsoft word birth certificates.

Here is a tip.......try the HOTDOGS! :thumb:

As to the game, the Oakland game plan is simple. Score as much as you can.....then pile on more points! Defense plan, give up.......NOTHING!

Not rocket science, but it is efective.

    • Problem with DB football goes beyond coaching. Like Waco said. Thr band is the main focus of their community and school. They have the resources to be a championship level team. Guarantee Ballard or Witten could have them nationally relevant at some point but everyone down to peewee would have to buy in and at DB we all know that would never happen.
    • I know the RB from OR he’s fast and has good hands. Is good on special teams also. Didn’t want to play defense over to the Ridge.
    • Lieutenant Flip flops is on a roll. #1 recruiter in Anderson Co, fo-sho.
    • Has there been any effort to contact college coaches other than Trevecca?
    • 5star put out and article about the QB competition for Clinton like they have 9 other schools. They listed a QB that was previously on Powell’s roster last year. He was the Frosh that could throw great wearing number 5. He was not mentioned as a transfer.  HC was quoted in getting two running back transfers one being from OR that has been mentioned on these boards as well as another from TKA.  I had heard about these and more transfers. It is impressive that Clinton is able to steal away from the recruiter at Powell.  I wonder if the issue with the principal will change that or open the gates even more.
