Yeah, I got you now. I thought you meant 6 from the '09 class. I know from the 26 seniors from '08 & '09 there are 3 @ Tusculum, 1 @ UT, & 1 @ Carson-Newman. Not to bad if you ask me. As for the next class or two, now is the time to determine where YOU'LL be on Saturdays in the future. The talent is there, just gotta apply it :hungry::thumb:

 

I thought Trey Allen and Hudson were playing for Tusculum as well! Either way, this years team is pretty athletic as well. Funny thing, two years from, Lord willing, Oneida will be 4 deep across the board and probably starting a Freshmen LB! But, who knows what will happen then.

 

Tonight is Greenback! Man, this is gonna be a fun one! Hope everyone has a safe trip up and back!

I was told the allen and hutson kids were at tusculum but could not walk on until next year because of a big freshman class this year.

I thought Trey Allen and Hudson were playing for Tusculum as well!

 

They're not playing this fall, I think they may be gonna start after the fall. As for Greenback, they kinda have me worried, they were going like gang busters early. Seems they may have hit a snag the last couple of weeks, a team like that is dangerous, potential to light it up but a couple off weeks can lull an opposing team into thinking they can't. Oneida is talented enough if they stay out of their own way, Greenback is talented enough to do the same. I gotta go with Oneida in this one, I think it's a tale of two teams, One is getting on track & coming together. The other seems to be having some difficulties as of late. I rarely give a scoring prediction & tonight is no exception 8-)

      RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.

      I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
