tackle
John was a very competent official. He loved football. He played for Buck Dozier at Lipscomb during the 70's and had a son who was a 3 year starter for Lipscomb in the early 2000's. His wife, Lois, is a math teacher in Brentwood. Please remember Lois and their sons, John and Robbie, in your prayers. May you rest in peace.

PHargis
This is very tragic. Talked to his dad who was a well known doctor is nashville and known by many. He was very dismayed. Many who knew him said he died doing what he enjoyed doing. He loved football and young people. His family does need your prayers. Visitation is at Harpeth on Tuesday afternoon on Highway 100. Burial is Wednesday at Harpeth. this is a fine family.
