BLACKMAN VS OAKLAND

I am assuming you are indicating bLACKLUSTERman is highlighted in the DVD series. No one can accuse Oakland of having a cupcake schedule. Ensworth, Christian County KY (perennial power), and Brentwood make up part of Oakland's out-of-district schedule. They should all be in the playoffs and highly ranked. Lincoln County is on both schedules and historically been very good although weak the last few years. Blackman has not yet defeated a 6A team with a winning record. That is the fallacy of the current playoff schedule. Some districts are very weak and won't play anyone they think they might lose against since a win is a win even if against a losing program or lower division team. The historically good teams are having scheduling difficulties. Riverdale is having to play Knoxville Farragut. Smyrna playing Ensworth. Blackman luckily has been viewed as a less strong team so they get to schedule Station Camp, Cane Ridge, Tullahoma (5A team), and a few weak sisters. That is not to say that Blackman does not have a good team. If Oakland does not play their best, Blackman can win. If they both play their best, we need to cover the eyes of any children as I expect a huge battle on the line of scrimmage. May the best team win!

They are all beatable...that goes without saying. Sounds like you didn't think your team had a chance before you watched the game film??? It should/will be a good game. This will be the first game back for one of the players and I hear he his chomping at the bit to get back out there!! Go "O"

 

not much of a chance is what i thought...until i saw the video...

we ain't played no one but smyrna and we lost...

yall have played the best of the best and won...

it took us 6 wins to even get a sniff in the rankings...

yall been in the top tier and now are # 1...

Since when have we ever been unbeatable? You know we love to make it tough on ourselves. Oakland is never going to put up the crazy point totals that Blackman has been able to this year. The score may say it was a game, but Oakland pretty much imposed their will from the get-go. AllabouttheO is right in the fact that it was a crazy week during that game, had some drama and guys we needed to cut loose. That and I imagine the LC you guys saw was better than the LC we saw. That and the one touchdown they did have was when the game was well in hand. QB is a good dual-threat that when flushed out, can still make plays. Pardon us if we dont go for the style points like you guys do, we just win

Big ole mean bad Oakland eh? We put our pants on one leg at a time just like everyone else . But if seeing that tape makes Blackman bring their A game, then Im all for it, I want to see both teams bring it.

Lost to smyrna because #4 could not run (72 first half 4 second half) and Qb could not pass. Now the question is can your QB keep Oakland honest? Anybody can tell this is the key in this game, was 4-8-17 yards 1 td 1 int against siegel in a 21-9 win. If he can who knows, if he can't then you can expect 2 following #4 all over the field. Qb's questioned all over the place in 7AAA but for some reason this one is forgotten? Could it be because against everyone else #4 has run for 250+ yards and no need to pass except when they wanted to except for one game which they lost. This game will be determined by blackman QB.

Hello and Greetings.....been a long time.....sorry I have had a lot of things happen to me and my family over the last 90 days but I truly appreciate the support from all of the fans who emailed me....now lets get rolling....my gut tells me this is the game for Blackman....regardless of outcome I just want to see every Blackman player who steps on the field to show they have two in their pocket...I mean it bottom line...

 

Blaze must step it up ....

 

Just like Gomer said in the famous Andy episode...." One of these days...they are going to test you and its time to show whether you are a man...and the Marines was the test"

 

Now this maybe a show but it still drives the point.....

 

I just want to see Blackman Blaze truly play lights out every second why....because their opponent will be bringing their best....since Tommy rolled into town its been nothing but war with Oakland...it is what it is...

 

 

We shall see....Coaches Show tomorrow....Behind the lens will return to normal schedule on Friday.....fans this will be a great game....it may not be Florida and Alabama but it’s a lot of fun playing in this region every Friday Night...

Blackman fans will be cheering for first downs instead of touchdowns tomorrow night because the flames will not reach the endzone. They will be lucky to get a couple of first downs. Its ok Flames you finally get to play a quality opponent. Dont get discouraged tomorrow night when mathers has 25 carries for 20 yards thats what happens when you play a good team. They shut down good players. Good luck to both teams and Blackman fans/players its ok to go wild IF you get a first down. You will need something to cheer about tomorrow night.
