FUB
24-16. 2009. in The Castle. 2nd round of TSSAA Playoffs. Everyone remembers this night. Especially 14 of the 17 seniors on the THS roster(3 didn't play at THS, 1 at Hampton, and another at Maryville) I guarantee you that the Vikings will come out looking for vengence tommorrow night. With SR #12 Austin Snyder taking the snaps at QB, he should have a good night, and be protected due to the running game THS has in the backfield. Howard, Fersner, Rowell, Young, Delaney(he is back after a 2 game suspension due to discipline reasons), Miller, and Deel are all vital parts of the THS running game At the passing game, both QB's Snyder and Austin Delph #8 JR, have multiple TD passes. Both Austins rotate within the game very often to give Delph more experiance as he will take over next season, and to rest Snyder so he is heeled up for the South game. D1 prospect Brendon Downs, along with teammates Wilson Young, Austin Wilson, Jake Jones, Michael Fersner, Carlos Howard and Johnny Deel are also parts of the viking offense. The O-Line is going to need to make ome HUGE holes for the running game, and keep the QB untouched in the passing game this week. The Defense is pretty well stacked in my eyes. They have depth everywhere but the Linebacker spot. #10 Adrian Lavergne is back(suspended 2 games for disipline reasons) but moved to CB and Fersenr is also a CB. Howard in the new starting safety. QB Austin Snyder wilol rotate in and out on defense at OLB with SR #6 Seth Hall and Jr #3 Joel Kreiss. My prediction is going to be 27-21 VIKINGS! I firmlly believe Tenn High can match up with Boone this week, despite what people say about last years TENN HIGH team. do u still have that good kicker don't know name or #
THSVIKINGS11
do u still have that good kicker don't know name or # Yes, Brandon Rutherford, #17 Senior. Already, in week 7, broke the school record for most touchbacks in a season!
Booneman
Yes, Brandon Rutherford, #17 Senior. Already, in week 7, broke the school record for most touchbacks in a season! Do you know which colleges have made him an offer and which ones he is interested in?
compusatman
I would think '04 would know this. Maybe others will know. The MLC had a statistics website and it was very useful. Provided everything. '04 I'm figuring you will have some idea on who managed it before. The Big 8 needs the same thing.
THSVIKINGS11
Do you know which colleges have made him an offer and which ones he is interested in? Not at the moment. Booneman
Yes, Brandon Rutherford, #17 Senior. Already, in week 7, broke the school record for most touchbacks in a season! I look forward to watching #17 and Boone's #1 kicking field goals in pre-game. They will probably be on each others 45 yard line facing each other kicking 65 yarders. boone4495
Boones is playing as a TEAM now.that could mean trouble for other teams.KEYWORD TEAM YES, I agree we are playing as a TEAM, and each and every player should get loads of credit. But dont forget the group that should be getting some praise too, the coaching staff has done a great job. It seems that JJ has pushed all the right buttons. VS. South i saw him pull both QB's because they were not getting it done. Now with the prize in front of them they are playing Smashmouth Football. I see the vikes putting 8 men in the box to stop the run. I also see Boone playing some bracket coverage on Downs, with Chandley spying him on sure passing downs. The kicking game will be fun to watch in this one. Good Luck BLAZERS.

Booneman
Great night for high school football, especially watching Boone and TH get it on. It is about team football and throughout my post I've encouraged the coaches and all the players at some point and time. Now I want to encourage the seniors with this being their last game ever in regular season on Boone football field. I hope you seniors come out and lead the whole team in making this a game to remember you by. The night that Boone crused TH up and down the field and everyone can say "you remember that great game where Boone punished TH for even thinking about beating them on senior night in 2010". Give it everything you got and enjoy this night. GO BOONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Edited October 22, 2010 by Booneman
