collegewrestler
as for football alcoa would be a clear winner and that shows just from their playing week end and week out. haha but don't be too upset greeneville would certainly destroy alcoa in a wrestling dual meet so atleast yall have that
THSVikings2004
Greeneville is playing Mo West, Science Hill, Jeff Co, and Aloca next year on week 5 A Jeff county poster posted their schedule about a week ago and unless he was mistaken, Jeff Co's non-district opponents next year are Tennessee, William Blount, and Heritage. Govolsknox
11 gold balls sitting in a trophy case at the school does not help Alcoa win a game. No, but it's a pretty good indication that they're pretty good. Especially the fact that 6 are from the last 6 years.

This is about like me saying Alcoa's 1959 Boys Basketball Team would destroy Greeneville. This is a Football board.

THSVikings2004
you get 4 non-district games were still going play jeff co it just want be week 0 I know Greeneville does, but Jeff Co has 7 district opponents: Mo West, Mo East, Seymour, Sevier Co, Cherokee, South Doyle, and Cocke Co. ChaunceyGardiner
This is about like me saying Alcoa's 1959 Boys Basketball Team would destroy Greeneville. This is a Football board. Since we are straying from the original topic, I would like to point out that the Friendsville Falcons beat the 1959 Alcoa Boys Basketball state champions in a regular season game. Does that mean Friendsville has a claim to being #1?
DSM10
Chauncey I have watched the 59 state championship game at least a dozen times. If I'm not mistaken Lenior City beat Alcoa in the regular season too. As for who would win between Alcoa & Greeneville. Of course we will never know this year but next year is a different story. Greeneville & Alcoa have excepted to play the next two years. It will be interesting to say the least next year for the Tornadoes. We have some great talent coming back but we lose some GREAT seniors. This could be the best senior class Alcoa has ever had. Greeneville on the other hand only has about 7 seniors or this team (correct me if I'm wrong GFans). This game will be one to watch next year for sure. I would like Alcoa's chances a lot this year if these two teams played. Of course that's just my OPINION.

Ya we have 7 with I believe only like 5 starters buut we have a lot of depth...I've been fighting for this game but do you know what week it will be? Looks like we have one week open now...DB maybe? Powell?
