Hey guys, long time listener, first time caller here.

I've been watching east tennessee high school football for close to 30 years and I think this game has all the makings of a classic. I think this game stays close for the first half then GHS pulls away...

Gibbs (The real GHS) - 49

Greeneville - 17

Just my opinion

Yeaaahh, them thar Gibbs boys ain't got no chance. I mean goooooodnnaaawt, ain't nobody got no chance against Greeneville.

Again, a fine line between confidence and arrogance. We'll see what happens. Also, to the poster who asked where the Gibbs fans were: why should most Gibbs fans want to have a conversation with a group mostly comprised of people who aren't even respecting their team? Personally, I think it'd be good medicine for this group to get humbled; if not by Gibbs- then somebody else.

Oh no, the Gibbs fans can't take a little talking on coacht. That's what these boards are set up for, to talk football. If a team is good, then their fans are going to talk. I hope the Gibbs boys that take the field in two days aren't as sensitive as the Gibbs fans that won't come on here and play along or they will get knocked in the mouth come Friday.

Now don't go pickin' on Wolverine, Bud....he's convinced that there is parity with the Devils because Gibbs scored 8 more points on Fulton than Greeneville did. Of course their defense gave up 54 to Fulton...which is, hmmmmmmm 54 MORE THAN THE GREENEVILLE DEFENSE. I rather doubt they have met a defense with this much speed this season. Jamel and Chaz will be as neighborly to Hibbett as they were to Ben Winters...and offer a nice mouthful of rug. Greeneville.....big. FIRE-SNOT BABY!!!

    • I have no clue if Derek tried to talk some since into his dad or not about staying here. All he is going to accomplish is going from the oven to the frying pan. If I were the coach all Ale would freze over before I set back and watched one of my good players leave without a fight.
    • If this is true, South Gibson is taking a big chance. Passing on an experienced coach for a guy who has never coached at the high school level is a high risk move, especially in that district and region.
    • Dorian Eskridge was HVA's best back, 2011
    • Jo Byrns was a very solid team last year. Imo, I thought they presented the biggest challenge for us on our path to winning it all last year. I expect them to be in the conversation and one of the final few teams playing in Murfreesboro
    • I'm not sure you understand anything if you think DB's career and AD's career are comparable.  This is a terrible take.   Not to slight AD, He was a good player and he got better as he matured after high school.   But Desean had over 8,000 yards in HS and was a two-time Mr. Football.
