Oh you've been to a Cornersville game? Yeah, didn't think so.... You girls are so cute when you all try to take up for each other. :roflol:

Why would I ever want to waste money and go to Cornersville game. That was about the funniest thing you ever said on here. How about Cornersville wins a state title just one and then we will talk.

Yeah Cornersville ain't got the best football team... We are average... You can talk about Cornersville all you want but, unfortunatley you ain't playing Cornersville Friday night. :thumb:

I haven't posted on this board in probably two years. But I couldn't stay away when I saw that this thread had more views than the COMBINED populations of Lake and Perry counties.

Haven't seen LC play in more than four years. Last LC game I went to was a blowout of Greenfield in '06 (and of course they put me to work doing PA as soon as I walked through the gate). But everything I've heard about this team makes me feel like this could be a special year - and it already has been. I wish I could get to one of these games, but I've got Troy, Clemson and then a rematch with Auburn to take care of first. :D

My prediction: Hays passes for 250+ yards and 3 TDs, runs for another; Tyler has two TD catches and 150+ yards receiving, and the Falcons win 42-34.

Question... What kind of relation do you have with South Carolina?

    • I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"
    • TSSAA will let them all go to Mase.
    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
    • I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
