Look at it from our side. You make the trip once a year for a long trip, Huntland and Moore Co. make it a long trip every time they play execpt against each other.

Boyd Christian -- 60 miles

Cascade -- 50 miles

Community -- 60 miles

Eagleville -- 70 miles

Forrest -- 60 miles

MTCS -- 70 miles

Moore County -- 30 miles

 

Oil companies are gonna make some money that week!

Did you round off those numbers? Its funny how they all end in 0. I think its a little farther for some of the teams, but its the same distance for Huntland to travel to their place.

Ummm.. yes they are definitely rounded off and OF COURSE it is the same distance for Huntland to travel going the other way. Wasn't trying to make a big deal out of it -- just saying that with so many teams traveling that distance everyone (except the hornets of course) is going to be spending some $$ on gas (which seems to go higher every week).

 

The host site rotates from year to year so it is fair and with Huntland's gym being one of the older gyms in the district (nuttin' wrong with that) it should be like a throw-back tourney and lots of fun.

This district has always been very fair about who hosts the tournament. Don't forget VanBuren hosting a few years ago. The trip to Huntland isn't that bad anyway and the people are great. Should be a great tournament with a lot teams capable of getting hot and winning it. Home teams seem to be winning often. MTCS has alot of home games left.

With the district as balanced as it is the tournament should be great. The place will be rocking and will be loud. Huntland and Community canceled, will be made up on Monday night if the snow stays away.

Winchester or Fayetteville depending on the direction you are coming from. Not many places to eat when you get to Huntland.
