coachfoozeball
Riverdale, Oak Ridge, Smyrna, Brentwood, White Station, Whitehaven, Oakland, Dobyns Bennett Riverdale, Smyrna, Oakland, Blackman. One of these four will be in the semis. Problem is they will beat up on each other all year long. Siegel will be no push over so each one of these teams has 4 slugfest games. The Dobyns, White Stations, and Maryvilles do not have to go through such a tough regular season.

We have the most D1 athlete's for a reason.

Memphis89
Thats true, but what he is saying is that Memphis football isn't weak by any means, the coaching maybe but not the teams. White Station will have to go through Ridgeway, Whitehave, Mitchell(I think?), Melrose, East, and probably a MUS or CBHS again. That is not an easy schedule by any means. With all due respect, the thread is about teams not athlete's The number of AAA teams out of the Memphis-Shelby Metro area that have big time Collegiate caliber talent is greater than that in any other part of the state. With that being said just like Middle TN folks (mainly District 7) like to boast about how yall beat up on each other in the regular season and the early rounds of the playoffs, I'm saying the same thing about football in our part of the State. You may beat up on each other, but historically West Tn does not make it past the whoever comes out of Middle Tn to get to the finals. There have definitely been exceptions, but they have been rare. Middle TN plays better football. District 7 is head and shoulders above. Its just like the difference between the SEC and ACC. East Tn has dominant single programs, but not top to bottom quality teams with a ligitimate shot at a title in the same district, so they typically have an easier path, although Maryville does a great job scheduling exceptional non district games, so kudos to them for that,
