I,m sure the 1a public coaches will vote for the split.I wonder if the TSSAA will think its important enough to do anything about it.

I think they will take into consideration whatever they bring to the table, but i also think they have more than just about 50 schools to think about. Like the other 250 schools that it will effect in a sense. Classes will have to be changed along with more playoff scenrios, but we shall see.

It should be interesting. I also wonder how many 1a and 2a schools will move to 3a if nothing is done.That could turn into a mess.

Is it true that the 1A and 2A schools have told the 4A and 5A schools that if they do not support the split they will vote to put all private schools back into 1 division?

The votes that count are of the nine members of the Legislative Council, currently the principals of Sullivan North, South-Doyle, Ooltewah, Whites Creek, Lewis County, Lexington, Crockett County, and Hamilton along with the superintendent of the Fayetteville city system (which has no high school).

Lewis Co. is 2A and the debate effects them almost as much as any 1A school.

If you will look the Board of Control(http://www.tssaa.org/BoardofControl/boardof.htm) has no private school representation either. Although there is a 1A representative from Cascade. So that means what?

The TSSAA membership selects the Board and Council members. If you want equal representation then you better have representatives from rural schools, city schools, county schools, inner city schools, poor schools, rich schools, small schools, middle size schools, and big schools also.
