I expected Signal to lose...but not that much...now granted Blackman is an elite 6a team...but I did not see this coming..

I was reading in my Murphy Fair book about these Blackman boys. I can believe they scored 72 points. They have that Mathers boy that has over 50 college scholarship offers. I wonder how many are these are SEC schools. This boy rushed for over 2,600 yards last year. You think im joking but im not.

Heard from someone at the game that Signal looked good through the air until their last 3 drives ended in INTs. They said Blackman ran the ball all over Signal which is no surprise. I can't believe there were no highlights from this game. Also saw where Knox Grace beat CAK 32 to 31.

Coming from a Blackman fan: the game, believe it or not, was close into the 4th quarter. Blackman could not stop SM's offense (and neither could Signal stop blackman's), and then all of a sudden, SM could not do anything right (3 pick 6's). Signal Mountain is better than the score indicated.

Signal's offense looked great until early fourth quarter. They could not stop Blackman's Running game (but no one has yet).

Game was much closer than score indicates. SM has a great offense. Quarterback is big time and will have many college offers. I dread playing him next year. SM defense can definitely be run on but nobody else has the I-train so I think you will be fine the rest of the year.

I know Signal has a great offense. It is their D that is suspect. It was 38 to 35 at one point in the 3rd if I remember correctly. It worries me that Signal lost. They will try and take it out on the Pirates in a couple of weeks.

Well, looks like the eagles wings got clipped. Glad they had at least one team on the schedule that wasn't made by Hostess! Good job. 72-35 is respectable against a 6A school. Signal better stay over there in the hills and play the cupcakes. I can't say much though, my team lost too. Guess that 72-35 score will put that Troll back in the Mountain.
