I can be depending upon what kind of people im around. But for the most part I'd say no.

Well its time for Vikings to get the round balls out and make another run at the Gold Ball. Jamboree tonight then season starts Thurday at JCS. I cant wait to see how we look.

Hey old man, C.A beat themselves in that game last year, P.C. wasn't even in the top five best teams C.A. played last year, especially if you count our out of state schedule.

They may not of been the best team you played but they were the LAST lol!!

For all of the Mcewen fans yapping, I have to say that Perry County has the edge over you. What I saw from your team is that you are long and lanky. I can see Gilboy pounding you on the boards and the area where they are better is the guard play...Unlesss your ball handes have gotten much better, the PC guards will dominate a game wit you. Another area where they are bette is plain and simple JacobTucker....the kid can flat out jump out the gym....you dont have an athlete on your team even in the same ballpark as athletic as he is.

I usually only post during hoops season.....bet you never thought you would see me hyping PC, lol.......glad that you have faith that we will make it to ssubstate, but to be honest, I think Mt Pleasant may be the team you see at region finals......they have the Harlan kid that can flat out hoop....as for mcewen, if their guards havent improved then they ar no match for rhodes and co.

I will argue that about Perry County I believe that McEwen is just as good or better. Lake County and Union City will be a hard team to fight against but Perry County no. You lost your star last year you have decent speed.

Humboldt only lost one starter & will have a load bench so don't forget about the "VIKES", last year was the first time in many years that the vikings wern't at state tournament. Humboldt was loaded last year and could have very easily been and beaten anyone at the State.But also,all the games last year went down to the wire.Humboldt won the first two during the season and Lake Co won both the district championship and the regional championship over the Vikings.Lake Co won both games after Coach B inserted Big Gauldin in the lineup as well as freshman,Coleman.As for the State all those other years,Lake Co could have just as easily been there.Beat Humboldt 3 times that one year but union City beat Lake Co by 3 points and knocked them out.It is what it is.Now.Again Humboldt has a lot of returning players.But they did lose one of the best firing mechanisms that made them go in Quan Cambell.He could jump out of the gym and take it to the basket anytime he wanted.But he also helped Antonio Brooks get his shots.When Quan would drive,Quan could dish it open to a wide open Brooks.With a taller defender on him,Lake Co made Brooks for every shot he took for the most part.Now with Quan gone,wonder if the Vikings have an outside shooter to help Brooks get his shot.Can see Lake Co playing Brooks very tight and make the others shoot outside.Bryson is a big ole boy but don't think he can handle swift down low.Ricky Boyd and Devon Jones both have tailback speed and height to go with it that will make it tough on Brooks.Going to be some good games but I have to give the nod to Lake Co .Plus if Swift gets in trouble Lake Co can go to former starter,6'5 caleb Bledsoe.If Rafael Tyler egts in trouble,can go with former starter stetson Swift at guard.a lot of weapons even off the bench
