Knoxville GCA breaks ground on new Stadium Field and refurbished Stadium

I wish there was a "scratching my head as well" emoticons to put here. I have a little insight as to the weakness & if anyone watches the film they'll know to. For now I'll just keep it to myself (begin whispering voice now) Pujo might be listening

 

I expected Oneida to be one of the better 2a defenses in the state this year. I think they have the potential but must admit I have been surprised.

Pujo, some of those Grace people were ok, but a few of them acted like they had a stick up their rear. I tried to show a few of them my Murphy Fair book and give them a fudge round and they turned their lip up at me. What kind of mess is that? Last time I was down there Roy ,I met some very nice people,but they do have a sense of arrogance,the coach is really bad.He used to have his own little website and they did interveiws with him,got the opponents a little fired up. I think they quit doing that. Smart move.

No problem Crow,I put my finger in gear before I put my brain in motion. I think highly of all the Oneida people,but if you guys get by Cosby and I'm fairly sure you will. We had better be ready for a 4 quarter ballgame. You guys may beat us but it won't be because we didn't take you serious.

Oneida will be tough but will be nowhere near the best team the Eagles have seen this year (see Hampton , PF , Coalfield,) If we can get by the injuns ya gotta look me up when we come back to Hampton, I didn't see ya up there earlier this year. If things don't go my way I may be up there next week just to watch anyway.

If GCA's new stadium draws enough athletic students maybe it will bump em up a classification or 2. if not get ready for an alcoa maryville type championship run from the recruitin rams! Bought championships will never feel as good as an earned one would!

 

Maybe the next time GCA gets caught cheating they should have to buy a synthetic field for every small public school they've ran the score up on the last few years!

Buddy i think me and you both feel the same way about this situation... im sick and tired of the cheating. Teams work everyday at making there program stronger. And others work hard making it better by getting the best of the best to come play to win....Cant get worse

I don't know what happened to Oneida's defense this year, but they let some suspect teams score a lot of points.

I'm not so sure the powers that be wants our kids educated,the no child left behind just assures that no child is pushed forward.My little 1st grader has little 3 letter words as challenge words on his spelling tests,I'm sure he can outspell alot of 8th graders. My kid is being cheated to death,but as a parent,I challenge him myself. He fills out his math work like picking up candy.Why even send that junk home with him.Just repetitive junk that does no one any good. You can try to lump people all together ,but thats never going to happen. If you took all the money in the world and handed it out equally, it wouldn't be a year from now until some were needing public assistance and others would be wealthy again.In my opinion all the governments are neglecting the people they are sworn to govern.Its more than likely headed to a complete takeover and you will have 2 types of people,haves and have nots, we might even rid ourselves of the have nots.I'm just glad I put my faith in God above and not these people who are suppose to be our leaders. Anyone wonder why you can't pray at ballgames ,but you salute the flag on every event. I think it should be the other way around. We are extremely fortunate to live in the US for the time being,I'm not so sure that will be the case by the time my little one gets grown.

 

Just like someone told me a few months ago bout NCLB..."You can put everyone on the same bus, but eventually there will be some jumping off that bus." We're slowly inching our way towards a socialist style gov't.

I would say that is very accurate. Even the ones that transfer in were either there before or often have connections family wise. A lot of the people at Jasper, Whitwell and SP are kin to each other is why you see so much bickering.

If you have natural grass, lots of people sit in the stands on Friday night taking great pride in all the time, sweat, and effort that went into the field.

 

If you have turf, lots of people sit in the stands on Friday night taking great pride in what their money was able to buy.
