I think if you would predict these games a little closer even though you are picking your team to win you would'nt make these posters hardly as mad.

Well I didn't intend to make any WC fans mad THIS year. Im sorry if I did. But I want all these cocky Pony fans to hate me. It will make it so much sweeter after we win. I only predicted a 2 TD win.

Nobody from Huntingdon is going to hate you for supporting your team, if they did they would be a hypocrite. You need to wear a shirt or something that says "The Guru" on it or something and I'll buy you a coffee or whatever you drink if you come through the gate on the home side. I'll even donate you a Huntingdon hat after the game when you exit. :roflol:

I could be wrong, it wouldn't be the first time, but Perry Co. will have problems stoping Warbritton, Jordan, Watson, Diebold, and Currie on offense, behind an offensive line that has been compared to their championship O-line of 2003. Add a very athletic and fast Defensive line that will pressure Tucker all night, the Warbritton brothers, Maddox, & Watson that like to take the ball away, and Miller, Fields, & Diebold that bring the wood... I'll take Huntingdon 35-20

Somebody questioned what would happen if this team had to play from behind, that's the difference in this team than the last few years. It has a ton of heart and will to win, they won't roll over and die, that I can promise.

I wish I had a shirt or hoodie that said GURU, I would wear that thing to every game.

I don't care to meet and say hello to whoever would like to meet me. :thumb:

We beat a 3A team that is moved to 2nd round (that blowed somebody out in first round of the 3a playoffs), we beat 2 teams that were 2A that are into the 2nd round of 2a playoffs and we beat a 1A team that won by over 40 in the first round of playoffs. Yeah we beat a few good teams and i forgive you for not knowing because we aren't on here telling everyday. 4 teams we beat are in the 2nd round. OH OH OH let me guess you want to say "but we beat Milan"

ok just because you brought it up I did some research and found that in yalls regular season the teams combined win-loss was 52-52 and only 5 of them made it to the play-offs which u mentioned the 4 that made it to round 2, but look at huntingdons regular season competition their opponents win-loss was 61-47 and every team they played made the play-offs and 6 of them are in the 2nd round. So just by looking at that you can tell huntingdon has played better quality teams then pc.

I know there is alot of trash talking on this website and it's fun to read, but from what I've read and what I've seen, both of these teams represent their schools and communities well. Most of these kids are not going to have a carrer in football after high school, and the character, self esteem, and work ethic they build on the field is what is going to get them through life.

I just read on this thread where a Perry Co. player went to the opposing side line to check on a kid where a personal foul was involved. I think it's awesome when kids show that kind of sportsmanship. At the end of the day it's just a game, be it a game nobody wants to loose but still a game.

Mr. Radford who loved his Huntingdon Mustangs more than anybody is smiling down on this team, and I'm sure he is giving the refs heck saying "They've been doing it all night!"

Good luck to both teams! I pray for a good hard fought injury free game.

With all that said Huntingdon wins 35-20

Sounds like you have some TSSAA brown on your nose to me . This Quad has 4 teams left with 2 losses between them all. PC traveled almost 3 hours last week and nearly 2 this week. Fact you like the smell of crap.roflol.gif

If Perry County hadn't have played 2 illegal players earlier in the season...they would have had a home game! The "FACTS" are that they were "seeded correctly" no matter where they traveled or how many losses Perry County has. The Vikings are fortunate not to have had to forfeit those games instead of merely vacating the wins! Your teams wasn't the only team that traveled last week! Know the "facts" before you pop off!

We know what did/could have happened if we wouldn't have used illegal players. How long are you going to beat this dead horse? Seems to be getting old.

    • Deja vu all over again, 7 yrs apart. SMDH Does anybody talk to each other?
    • OK, well, that’s because two quarterbacks can’t start. That’s football 101. The main quarterback won the starting job, so he was on varsity, and the Seymour transfer did not win the starting job. He played some varsity. He was mainly junior varsity, and he balled out when healthy, so for the starting quarterback who’s been starting varsity since his freshman year, if you have any form of proof that he’s gotten worse, somehow, whether that means stats or whatnot, please feel free to share.
    • They’ve both gotten worse. I’ve seen enough games to know that.
    • The only two transfers that Bearden has gotten that went on to play college football were a defensive back from Karnes, who transferred here way before the new coaching staff got here, and a running back from Carter, who went on to play at Maryville College. Both players received those offers while at Bearden, and both players got a diploma from Bearden High School. Therefore, they are Bearden kids, and you can’t do anything about that.   The transfer from Seymour didn’t win the job, what do you expect two quarterbacks to start at the same time? He played great on JV when he could stay healthy, and when he came in on varsity, he did great. The quarterback position is definitely going to be in good hands when the current starting quarterback leaves, but until then, they’re just going to be battling it out like every good quarterback competition does. The current starting quarterback has his flaws, and that is in the pass game, but what he doesn’t have flaws is running and scrambling, and if you go back and watch any game, which I’m sure you didn’t watch any, we used him very often, and when we needed a deep ball, we brought in the transfer from Seymour. The starting quarterback last year will be a senior this year, and the Seymour transfer will be a junior, so the Seymour transfer is definitely going to get his spotlight. He may even win the job this year. Football isn’t about who the newspaper thinks is the best kid. The best kid in the position will win the starting job, and I trust the coaching staff more than a newspaper or article to pick my starting QB.
    • I mean, we’ve only gotten two transfers that went on to play college football, one who went to UT Martin came his second semester junior year before the new coaching staff was here, and the other one went on to play at Maryville College, in which I don’t believe he had any interest prior to transferring.
