Nice post. I might also add that he has a 4.0, is a leader both on and off the field, and a great all-around kid. He's also one of the most polite kids I've ever met in my life.

Sounds like the kid has his head on straight, if he stays like that,many rewards or awards will be coming his way. Hats off

Easy fella, I know that Tucker is a good athelete. I wasn't trying to say that he isn't, just want to see him preform against tougher competition. I think he will probably win, just think our boy warbritton is getting overlooked.

Tucker has had a good 2 years now. He put up really good numbers last year and put them up again this year. Perry County has beaten and played several teams that are still in the playoffs this year. Forrest, Lewis Co., Columbia Ac, Wayne County (lost this one), Loretto (lost last week in OT). They aren't all powerhouse teams but they are playoff teams. Tucker is a really good player not only at QB but also defensive and special teams. A few weeks back he picked up a fumble & scored, blocked a punt & scored, ran a TD then threw a TD all in the same game.

 

I think the rationale last year was that they would give it to Rice last year and Tucker would be a shoe in this year.

it is rare to have mr. football finalist playing against each other but for PC it has happened two years in a row. the SP kid is really good as well but...

i think this year will go to Tucker... by a landslide.

He was a beast.

Gville had to play against him his jr. and sr. year.

He didn't do much his jr. year against us, but went off the next year.

He was a finalist as a lineman. Kind of ironic for a running back.

Hey, I'm not getting wound up on this. Tucker is a great player and from what I hear a great young man. I don't know him personally. I am however very partial to Boston Ray the Wayne County Lineman up for Mr. Football. He is a 4.0 student as well and a very fine Christian young man.

 

P.S. I know Boston had rather win a state title than this award!!!!!!!!!!!!

Last year WC had MR Football and Miss Basketball with Tyler Rice and Carly Daniel, this year WC has Boston as a finalist with a great chance of winning it and Kelsey Risner who I think will be in the running for Miss Basketball. This could turn out to be two great years back to back. Good luck to all who were nominated for these awards and Boston were so proud of you.
