The legends were on the court again last night and had some great games. New legends that played included Jason Alexander, John Veneable, Ric Smits, Nathan Scaife, and Bret Hankins. Teams for the night were Keltner,Keltner,Cox,Smits,O.D.B.(Bret played one game and had 15 points(6-6) before tearing his ACL). Against Trav,Evan,Jason,Andy,Veneable//Scaife. The team of Keltner's, Cox, Smits,and Dirty were victorious last night in a five game series. It took all five for them to pull back from a 0-2 deficit. Games 1&2 were led by Alexander, who was basically unstoppable. Also in game 2 Evan hit 6 three pointers! But the opposite team won 3 in a row and won the series.

Yo Knight, u forgot to mention we hads to overcome all odds to beat dem boys, including Evan's shooting clinic in game 2, Jason's all around hustling effort, and the poor ref'in (questionable callz surrounded me..da no-call by Andy on da fast break and da obvious goal tend by Alexander).

 

Da big turnaround for us wuz after game two. Da tempers flared dat game and we wuz hungry for a title afta dat. I single handidly shut down Evan, and dat left dem hurtin'. My presence also intemidated McKissack and threw his game off. Sure I did not shoot so well, but my defense was fly. I cant waits til we be playin' again!

 

Finally I wanna give a shout out to Cox, Da Keltner's and Smits for winin' da title wid me. Holla if ya hear me!

There's nothing like going back home to see your family after being at school and dealing with so many people. And then to top it off you get to play ball in a five game series with a bunch of good ol boys. It was great after playing at our rec center where its nothing but hot dogs and 1 0n 1. I enjoyed every game even though we lost three in a row. Big kelt caught fire in the last two but he was also open a lot due to his defender having to chase others around and the trying to get back to him, it was a difficult task but that is what its all about, hustle. I think the games would have went the other way if mckissick back wasn't ailing him and if we would have hit 15% of our lay ups instead of 5%. Andy was hustling but just couldn't score, also a personal problem for the ol andinator. Maybe that is why his game was affected. Just playin andy, I enjoy playing with you because you usually hustle. The combo of the keltners and cox turned out to be victorious but I'm willing to guarantee that we will not be defeated again. Bring it on

What are the chances of some people playing this Friday night? I thought that since the football team was off this week that maybe some guys would like to play. Where do you all play and is there room for one more has been to join the crowd. Remember I will be driving in from an hour and a half away. So if someone says that we can play then I want to make sure some people are there. Where are these games taking place?

The so called Lewis County legends have been playing in a 'hidden' place everyone knows about. They will not let any of us play though because they say we have sorry attitudes and are bad losers. Well I think they are just scared of us. We are not all like Brad Creasy, and could run them out of the gym. So sportsman, if you are old and no good they'll probably let you play. But if you are not they will not invite you. Maybe they will bring it to the courts sometime and we can beat on them then.

It was great playing the other night , It kinda reminded me of the beatings I (UT) use to take by Jason(Ole Miss) in 1 on 1 pitch football. I guess it was a long awaited payback for me. I hope we continue to get together a couple of nights a week and play. Trade rumors have been flying at the high school that O.D.B. might be traded to the other team(to join Trav) for Jason and a first round pick. Andy will be in full force next game also. What do you say ICEBURG??

Come on now boys, you know you couldn't beat Foxy Coxy, Lovely Lawson, the Keltners and Fite. They rock!
