Roy, I hear they are selling t-shirts, jogging suits, hoodies, and water bottles with Roy Dillard on it at SPHS. Whats up with this mess?? I think Grider may be getting some profit off this. You better make sure you get your cut :roflolk: Wayne County thinks they will run and not be stopped. They have some ball players now. Big Boston is a fast linemen for a guy his size. I say he can probably run a high 4.7. I have been saying it. This will be a tough game! Pirates by 14. Time to earhole.

Yeah, he is a good LB. I seen SP and those boys playing the OT position are huge  I think this will be one heck of a game. I'm ready for Friday. GO WILDCATS!!!! :thumb:

Grider isnt giving me anything. He is probably using this money to buy these boys a hotel room Thursday so they can go out with those college girls. That is why we lost that game against Union County two years ago. These boys stayed out all night with these college girls and didnt have any energy to tackle that Nicks boy from Union County. You think im joking but im not.

I don't think they wuz college girls, Roy.:roflolk:

Just a question here but does anyone see this coming down to a kicker making a PAT or field goal to possibly win this game? If so I think the advantage has to go to WC.

And this has nothing to do with the championship game a couple years ago before i get blasted about that!!!

Remember these are college goalpost. Not so High, Not so Wide. Messes with a kickers psyche and you know about kickers and their superstitions. I wouldn't want to count on no field goals to win it.

I hope it doesnt come down to a fieldgoal being the last play of the game for the win but maybe making one earlier on in the game could give an advantage.

Leaving field house about 4 Thursday. Come on down. I'm curious if best route for the team bus parade is maybe thru downtown Jasper and then hit 28.roflol.gif

Old Pirate says best directions: Take 72 north from SP, stay right on Hwy 41 toward Jasper, Take left on Betsy Pack dr., right @ flashing caution light @ Ridley Farm Equipment, continue by Jasper High School & Jasper Elementary, continue toward fair grounds and bare right toward Farmer's Coop then left @ red light on Main. Continue toward hwy 28, turn north onto 28 and wave goodby to all the Jasvegas folkes..cause figure theys will be giving the Pirates the sign that theys #1. Leastways, Recon it works for Old Pirate anyhow..... :roflol:

If that Childress man finds out about this mess, he might make you forfeit this game. I doubt that Childress man will want you going across the state line to practice football. This Childress man is not going to put up with this mess. You think im joking but im not.

Let them practice at UNA, my undergraduate alma mater. They have natural turf at Braly Municipal Stadium. :roflol:

UNA got knocked out of the second round of the Division II playoffs at Delta State Saturday. What kind of mess is Terry Bowden pulling?

He's got too many guys on the team that major in basket weaving and color by number. Not enough secondary ed. majors like alumni and myself. ;)

    • If that Yellow Paint is all gone I'll flat bet it didn't wash off there. I bet that took some scrubbing to remove that if it is gone. Lacrosse is one of those northern sports all these misplaced Yankee's that are posion to the community brought in by  (Blount Partnership, ( The Devil) with them so somebody allowed them to paint their markings on the field that cost more than the twenty top people on payroll at Maryville make a year. All this to please the 1% Club and the 25 people that would come to see it. All in the name of WOKE!!!!!!
    • They will probably, struggle
    • Dyersburg is going to be good, really good. As mentioned, they have a lot of talent on the way and the trio of Chelby, Joya, and KayKay will only be better with a full season together under their belt. To me, playing in Murfreesboro two consecutive postseasons will only serve to make them more dangerous if/when they stand among the final eight teams this March. Experience, good or bad, always makes you better. And not only do they have experience, they know how to win there. Schedules are coming together for all of the teams and I am excited about what I am seeing on the preliminary drafts on Dyersburg’s schedule. I know I am being a tease, but it’s simply not my place to announce what another school is doing. With that said, I won’t go into specifics. However, I am excited about renewed home and away contracts for the non-district portion of the calendar. I think west Tennessee will have a lot of interest as well.
    • What does everyone have in the final 8? In no particular order. 1. Eagleville 2. Gordonsville 3. Greenback 4. Oakdale 5. South Pitt/ East Robertson-- not sure 6. Richland 7. Halls 8. Union City
    • They struggled to field a team last year. I don’t see them being much better?
