Amber Fair Union City, she is the leading scorer in District 14A averages a double double 20-10, handles the ball defends the inside and outside, Union City's playmaker, knocks down the three, can get to the rim, and deadly from mid range. Amazing to watch her do what she does as a second year player.

Wow! You have got to be kidding, she is not even the best player in her district. You must have forgot about T.T. Flowers, no comparison.

Another vote for T.T. Flowers. Her speed with the basketball is mind-blowing. Very unselfish with the ball, makes her teammates better, wants to win more than pad her stats. She can shoot lights out including the 3 ball although she takes very few. All around fantastic player who is very fun to watch. She is the total package as a phenomenal player, good kid, and great student. As Bigster mentioned she is the main reason the Lady Falcons have that #1 ranking and a shot at a state championship.

Amber Fair goes for 35 tonight beating Greenfield by around 12 points. She might not be the best player in the district, but for sure 2nd best.TT will for sure be up for Miss Basketball and should have a good shot at winning it.

T.T. had close to 20 points tonight and didn't play at all in the 3rd or 4 th quarter. But her defense and handling the ball is what makes her special.Held Bradford star player,Jackilynn Street to about 3 points the first half before she went to the bench.Lake Co lead 38-6 at the half and midway through the 3rd quarter with about a 45-8 lead, the rest of the starters came out.Very impressive game for T.T. in only a lalf, which is about what she plays in most games. If Coach Johnson wanted to pad her stats ,could very easily do that against a lot of teams but he's not going to run up a score with the starters.

Possibly two for one team... if thats ever happened but either way good candidates Miss Rachel Garland and Miss Sarah Raby! both lead thier #@ Moore County team, great students, leaders and two great kids preiod... as well!Rachels been a 5 year starter getting district, regional and state regognition over her career. Sarah has been a force snd took recognition her freshman year i believe when she came out in state chanpionship game opening up against Jackson Co for 15 points? been unstoppable more than not minus one game before Vandychris comes on here about how Summertown shut them down and all these players at some point during the year have had a off night and all have at least one bad loss id imagine. So two very good candidates and ever so supporting of each other either or both are worthy of this award. and good luck to all of the candidates all are worthy of the award!

    • Never said I thought it was a smart decision. I'm scratching my head at it too.
    • If he wanted to play QB he should have either went to Heritage or William Blount and had a real good chance there. In stead he'll be exactly what he was going to be at Maryville. They already know who their QB is going to be in 2025 and it ain't going to be him.
    • Easier said than done. The man who ran for 250+ yards and 3TDs is gonna be back….and a lot bigger.
    • plus it removes the pressure around winning.
    • You are correct.   The teacher's pay scale is virtually the same in Knox County, now, as it is at Oak Ridge.   The coaching supplements are still higher at Oak Ridge, from what I was told, but not a huge difference.   Plus, Rusty is going from a position coach to an OC position, which is what he was at South Doyle and where his comfort zone is.  And from a special education teaching slot to a PE teaching slot.  There is a lot of positivity in that move without even considering the coaching aspect.   Anybody who sees something negative here is just looking for negativity to begin with.  But some live in that world.   Really good hire for Brent.  He now has two experienced and quality coordinators and can concentrate on being a head football coach.
